The Plymouth County Registry of Deeds has the following filing regarding the AWOL Selectperson:

Date: 8/30/2011
Book: 40269, Page: 252
Discover Bank
Return documents (after stamping them in as received) to: Pymouth County Sheriff's Office.

In other words, Mikey owes Discover Card, hasn't paid, and they have filed a lien on his property in the Registry of Deeds.

Citibank, South Dakota, NA filed the same on May 4, 2011 and may 26, 2011. In both cases, the recorded documents were marked for return to the Sheriff.

So. Mr. Responsibility has blown off the credit card issuer, the sheriff, the attorneys, and now the court.

Here's the rub. Citibank filed in the registry less than One (1) month after the election. this says that the problem was evident WAY before the election. Thus, he ran under false pretenses, sorta like that guy from South Carolina who ran for President while hiding the love child and using his late cancer-stricken wife. Stevens, remember.

The house at 9 first Avenue is assessed for $169,300. There was the last in a series of ReFis in 2005, just as the market peaked. It is probably a good bet that the house is 'under water', with the mortgage balance exceeding market value; but that is strictly a guess on my part.

And, how 'bout them limos? One ad listed 5-6 of them, all but one being Lincolns. Where are those assets? No doubt Discover Bank, Citibank and Wells Fargo (mortgage holder) would like to know.

And, if you are running a limo service, i.e. business, out of 9 First Avenue, is that a violation of the Town's zoning by-law? Particularly if the vehicles were garaged on site.
