Glad to see the Town has honored Ray with a park named after him.

Ray was a hero. I was scared to death of him when I was a kid, and I was even scared of him when I worked with him as a cop.

His hand was as big as my head!

He was a kind. empathetic, professional,bad-ass,very smart, competent and caring man.

On the day her retired he gave me his "blackjack".

"Here...you need this more than me, Biffy." he said with a smile(one of the few times he ever smiled at anyone when in uniform that he thought was a punk).

I was most proud and surprised. To think that this giant of a man, a cop that was renowned, would even consider me for such an honor, was beyond my belief.

I loved Ray Pizzoli.
