I want to thank all for coming and donating to this worthy cause. The cause: The Jim Holmes Memorial Scholarship Fund" this is set up in my brother Jim's memory. We give students scholarships every year to begin their college studies. My brother Jim dedicated most of his life to helping kids, from sports to his Statewide work with the Knights of Columbus. Jim dedicated many hours and money supporting the Squires of the Knights for kids that were below the age of 18. We also have a Bike Run, this year it will be on July 15 at the Ice Chest in Fairhaven. As many of you know you need not have or ride a bike to enjoy the event. Again thanks, and thanks to Bill for taking the pictures, Mom wants to know where her picture is??
My mother and sister-in-law Dot commented on the large Wareham turn out, we really do appreciate our new "friends and family" from Wareham supporting our cause. I know that Jim is watching over us each and every day.
