It seems that thus far no one is writing a write-in campaign for assessor against Brenda, so sadly, the town is in for a year of Brenda as an assessor.

Perhaps, at the very least, we can send the town the message that more people were confident in a fictional monkey's assessing abilities than they were in Brenda's.
