The upcoming election will perhaps be the most important ever for the Town, for you and for your children. The Bruce/s, Brenda/s Ellen/s and Mike/s of our community will retort that should you not like it here you can leave. Well the real “inconvenient truth” is that most people today are simply not mobile. Their houses are upside-down or the economy has conspired to limit choice. So while many might leave a town as apparently broken as Wareham, they simply cannot. So the question for you all is “What are you going to do”?

SLAGER

Firstly, to Mr. Slager. Sir in my opinion you are a parasite, a blight on our community; you are a hater; you seem to see conspiracy in any place that bastions people you disagree with; you have been wrong so many times I believe the only plausible explanation for your grade-schooler mentality is that you fabricate conspiracy simply to maintain your narcissistic and pathetic need for the spotlight. Anyone willing to do just a small amount of research into Mr. Slager will see that this is a patterned behavior he exercised long before he came to bless our shores. I’ll wager someone stole his lunch money every day right through high school. Mr. Slager, you have done your best to make a mess of our community for years and I cannot remember a single time you advanced Wareham or our discourse. If anyone looks to those you surround yourself with it seems apparent that decent people will have nothing to do with you so you play to the truly conspiratorial among us. Your friends include some of the most morally, ethically and socially corrupt people in Wareham’s history. You are always crying conspiracy as you stand hip deep in one.

So in an effort to do my part to rid our community of you Mr. Slager, I propose this to you. Yes, I dislike you immensely and as far as I am concerned, deservedly so. Last week you proudly and emphatically proclaimed Bob Brady to be Jason Smith. (You really do think you are Woodward or Bernstein don’t you, even with all evidence to the contrary?)  Just as with Mary Jane Pillsbury and too many others of your proclamations of fact, you are wrong again. I’ll make you a wager, you agree to leave Wareham, never post again or be involved in any way in our community, you agree to be gone if I can prove that you were wrong about Bob Brady and Jason Smith. We’ll reduce it to a written agreement with financial penalties and injunctive relief for breach and you must apologize to the people of Wareham. I’ll agree to any terms of penalty you like because I am not Bob Brady. Come on tough guy put up or for God’s sake “Shut Up”.

Conspiracy 

Let me tell you all some things you may not know or some of you may know parts of. Remember I told you Andrews had to go. I wanted you to recall Begley. Well, a few short days after my last post Andrews ordered Chief Stanley to find me and also several others of you who post anonymously. A few weeks later Wareham Week’s site was hacked. Yep, hacked and they found out who you all are. They did not find me.

So Slager posts that Bob Brady is Jason Smith. Concurrent with this someone in the BS group has Andrews order Mark Gifford to take Slavin election signs down on John Decas’s private property claiming that the town owned the property, which it does not. Bob, apparently a friend of John’s goes to town hall and has words with Andrews about the matter and the police show up at a Board of Health meting and arrest Bob Brady (a member of that board) and remove him in handcuffs over a traffic matter. No phone call to a town official, no “hey Bob, could you come down to the station so we can work this out”. Nope, with murders, attempted murders, drug sales, gun confiscations and such, it’s nice to know we have the manpower and time to organize (yes this was a plan to embarrass and punish Bob) to send officers to a public meeting to arrest an alleged traffic offender who missed his court date.

For those of you who believe the police department is one happy bunch of Musketeers under the new chief, think again. Half of the officers are scared to death to speak. Just like the employees at Town hall. See a pattern?

Andrews regularly leaves Chief Stanley as acting TA when he is away. How does that make you all feel, knowing that our $167,000 a year Chief of Police has decided to involve himself in our politics? Is there anyone in town who is unaware that Andrews is trying to get Bruce elected and is doing Brenda’s, Ellen’s, Mike’s and Bruce’s bidding.

How do you all feel knowing that should you complain about our government you will most likely start having trouble with the police department?

Did any of you know that the Attorney general recently hired a retired Lt. Colonel from the NJ state police to be one of our Massachusetts Gaming commissioners? The woman has vast experience dealing with gambling crime and the legal matters of Atlantic City. During her career she had hundreds of officers under her command including crimes investigation and enforcement. As a commissioner for our new casinos she will oversee a multi billion dollar industry and we are paying her a paltry $112,000 a year. Can someone tell me how then Wareham pays $167,000.00 to a police chief who comes from a town where he managed a force of 25 or 30 officers? NO! No S—T. I’ll tell you why, for the same reason Andrews pays Myles, the Wareham Town Hall swim coach $85,000 and now wants to pay a Town Accountant $99,000 a year. As I’ve told you all before, he’s using your money to pay for or buy his political favors.

Do any of you recall the Town meeting vote to establish and elected board of sewer commissioners?  Well that bill, more than a year later is sitting on Pacheco’s desk but Andrews could get a special act passed in a week so we could have Snyder’s position on the ballot. As I understand it, once the sewer article is passed by the legislature is would still have to come back to Town Meeting. Andrews has managed to keep the bill shelved so that it cannot get back to town meeting and he can continue to manipulate the sewer funds and budget. The warrant is closed; so coincidentally the very next time it could be voted on will be just after his contract expires.

How about Andrews back dating a legal contract with the accounting firm? He told the BOS at the end of January he had contracted with the firm at the end of December and they were up and running (our accounts were up to date) when in fact he had not signed the contract or hired them at the time.

How’s that Healthcare Trust fund money coming? Remember Andrews pretty much bankrupt his last community with the same act. Well, the 1.5 million he got you all to vote to take so to balance the budget does not seem to really be there. (told you so) As of a week ago he had not taken it because it’s not there to be taken. The DOR is threatening a takeover of our Town perhaps if he takes it and also perhaps if he does not take it.

Andrews had a meeting a few weeks ago with the DOR who had insisted that Walter attend the meeting because the ramifications for the Town/Healthcare Trust fund were expected to be disastrous. Remember, if Andrews does not take that money the budget is 1.5 million in deficit in addition to all the money he has moved between departments this year and not accounted for. (maybe as much as $3,000,000) Andrews’s actually told Cruz it was a housekeeping meeting and he did not need to attend, knowing full well that the DOR had demanded Walter’s presence. The meeting was canceled by the DIOR and Andrews was told in no uncertain terms that we are moments away from intervention.

Yep, there are some real conspiracies for you all.

Unless we all do everything in our power to see to it that Bruce & Co. are handed the defeat he/they so richly deserve, we are going to lose this town to absolute corruption forever.

By the way, I do not always agree with Walter but this entire thing about his son is nonsense and you must consider the source. This is nothing but subterfuge from Andrews, Snyder, Begley, Brenda and Bruce trying to cloud the election and Andrews conduct. Yes Walter’s son has applied for a job and Walter has stayed out of it. This issue arises from Walter not supporting Andrews contract extension. They would have you believe it has nothing to do with Andrews’ behavior. So you all know, it was Andrews himself that put his contract renewal on the agenda without Walter’s knowledge. Only the BOS Chair can put things on the agenda, and perhaps two selectman may also but not the TA. Notice when the question was asked he did not admit to it.

Walter, I told you Andrews would throw you under the bus when you were of no more use to him. Remember when you would ride around with your buddy every day? How’s that working out for you now? The very least you could do for Wareham before you leave is vote to inform Andrews we will not be renewing his contract. Further, suspend him with pay pending and investigation into some of the numerous allegations of wrongdoing. Lying about the accountant contract is all the cause you need. Pay the SOB to stay away. Do not let him go back into his office unattended. The salary we will pay him will pale in comparison to the damage he will do us over the next 8 months. This is the least you could do for us Walter. Be a leader for once.

I say to you all right now, reading these posts and wringing your hands will not get this done. You need to go to BOS meetings, demand action. Raise money. Post signs. I cannot believe no one has taken Whitehouse’s archives of Bruce’s conduct over the years and posted a YOUTUBE video collage. I would have done that and then posted signs everywhere in town driving people to the site. I might have ended the video with a call to the polls.

They all must go, the TA, the Chief, who has made his choice and Myles and his little dog Toto, too. Get rid of Andrews and the rest fall.

And Slager if you decide to accept this proposal I just may step up when Bob Brady decides to sue you.
