According to the DOR website, tax rates for the Town and the Districts were approved today, as follows

Town: $9.37 per thousand dollars of valuation
WFD:  $1.88  "     "              "               "
OFD:  $1.93  "     "                 "             "

It would be nice to convert these numbers into average tax bills, but the assessment data has not yet been updated by the DOR people.

The levy increased from $30,755,000 to $31,566,000; a change of $811,000 (all numbers rounded). this is an increase of 2.64% in the Levy; it is the levy that is the driver of tax bills.

There are many questions, not the least of which is what happened to the 'rest' of the Classificattion hearing. Will try to track some answers down.
