Copies of this and the budget itself are available at Town Hall, Rm 26.
Note the health insurance bump and funding for a Personnel Director.

There was a personnel director, before the Soviet-style purge of department heads. One wonders how muc better off the Town would be had an experienced profesional been in place.

MATH ERROR !!!
One of the bullet points in his lowness's Budget Message involved a change in the funding allocation to the Stabilization Fund, going from $150,000 to $200,000. He characterized it as a "25%" change.
WRONG-O BUFFALO BREATH !!! (where's J. Carson when you really need him?)
An increase of 50,000 over a BASE of 150,000 computes to an increase of 33.33%, NOT 25%.
And this guy was the financial dude at that Community College & the City of Lawrence????
Just one more participant in Wareham's race to the bottom.

"funding Financial Services Director at $25,000 stipend"
Wassup wi' dat ????
Is this a 25K 'Kiss' for the Lawrence City Hall emigre, aka Andrews?
Or, for his fellow emigre from the wilds of Lawrence, his man Myles?
Or, perhaps the police chief has a little spare time?
Or, WHO, exactly.
My memory is that Bob Bliss was paid about a 5K stipend to be the Finance Director in addition to his accountant role. Has the market for such increased by 400 % since the departure of Mr. Bliss? (Hey Andrews! Check my math on that percentage calculation, willya. thanks, man).
And the beat goes on......
