The powers that be have mandated me to hook up to the city sewer by February of 2012. They included a list of installers with their letter. Does anyone know anything about these local installers? Has anyone used them in past? I'd like to use my own person (who is properly licensed) but I'm afraid the town will make it too difficult.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

There are a number of "drain layers" on the list that the town provides as noted and accepted as sewer tie-in contractors. If your contractor meet the criteria then there is no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to use someone you're comfortable with and knowledgeable of.
