Voted out of office in disgrace ex-selectman and columnist for the out of print worst paper on earth Sweet Brucey, whose shenanigans have cost the town plenty in tax dollars, reputation, and goodwill has been appointed to the Westfield Committee.
All RFP's for Westfield now to begin with an answer to the question - "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?"

The seven-member committee will consist of: James Franklin, William Heaney, Joseph Mulkern, David Nilson, Michele Rose, Bruce Sauvageau, and Sandy Slavin.
But, but, butt, No Mikey. I thought he had, by his own admission, "17 years experience".
Is that why Ms. Eckstrom nearly walked out ? Awwwwe, poor baby.
Looks like pretty good appointments except for the "BS".
Congrats to the rest of the members.
Sweet Brucey, you should resign already.

The Town of Wareham bought Bruce Sauvageau a multimillion dollar beach.
That's not a fiasco, it's a crime. So is this:

A great appointment. A Selectman (Chairman) that got his ass kicked so bad in the last election, he was only a few votes of coming in last. A Selectman (former) that was accused by a consultant of a criminal act. An arrogant, disrespectful, devoid of ethics, numb nuts that is appointed for what reason?
Anyone?

He's a complete disappointment. He's got ALL the answers and is SO far up Andrews's ass his "eyes" are brown too.
Wake up Mr. Holmes and see just how poorly Wareham is being managed under your leadership.
You're all approving pay increases when the budget is a MILLION dollars in deficit ! You've boasted of your 30+ years experience so I'm curious, when was the last evaluation you conducted on one of your subordinates ?
That evaluation last week was a SELF-EVALUATION.
All glitz and glory be to me. What did you expect ?
Andrews is over paid as is the accountant and we cannot afford Stanley at any cost. Send'em all pack'n and let's start fresh with qualified, experienced municipal employees. Oh, don't forget to show Mr. Burke to door too.

Steve Holmes is a salesman, an agreeing person. Think Dale Carnegie. Steve figures out what other people are thinking, then he thinks that, too. It's always helpful to know who Steve talked to last.
He's got to ask himself, though, is he feeling lucky?
His new best pals are clumsy and, viewed charitably, not too bright. Their budget shell game and pay for play patronage will crash, soiling Steve Holmes head to toe in shit. His meat and potato sales prospects will net search and see that immediately.
All the oily charm in the world won't help.

It used to be the highest privilege you could obtain to be elected Selectman in Wareham.
I am reminded that you get what you pay for.
If you don't think seriously about returning to the form of government that existed prior to the destruction of the Town, the Town of Wareham will just be another Podunk shithole to drive through on the way to the Cape.
It is no wonder you can't find people to run for office.
