TOWN OF WAREHAM
TOWN HALL WILL BE CLOSED FOR BUSINESS TODAY AT NOON
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SUBMIT WARRANT ARTICLES TODAY TILL 5:00 PM.
So Town Hall is closed because employees and citizens should be home and off the roadways as part of OUR emergency preparedness but IF you want to submit a warrant Article for this October, you MUST venture out before 5 PM.
How asinine is that ?
Why not wait until Tuesday in light of the circumstance ?

Or how about just setting the date to September 10 as required by the charter as explained in this post by P-Span: Get it Right this Time, Will Ya??

Mr. O, I think that's truly brilliant but to expect our leaders to get it right after we've been doing it for decades now is likely too much to ask.
