Chris Reilly has resigned. What does this do to the million dollars from the state? Why do we continue to put up with mismanagement and bonehead decisions? Wareham is the biggest joke in the state.
A big thanks to Brenda for gigging Chris and thanks to Steve Holmes for the assist.

Steve Holmes is a complete disappointment.
He is step and toe with Brenda who is a complete disfunction.
Now the $ 1 million block grant is in jeopardy and Wareham looses AGAIN !
Way to go leaders.
Can you spell RECALL ? Maybe a new "Task Force" for a recall is in order.

Bob you are correct the million dollars grant money is in jeopardy because Chris is leaving. Karen who works in the office and is a great grant writer is out on sick leave. No one seems to know how long she will be out. Karen is the one who wrote the wellness grant for the COA and the gatra grant for the COA, since Marsha is incapable of getting any grants funded. Who will be writing the grants? There is a lot of stimulus money that is left which is being handed out at different times of during the year. So not only could we be loosing grant money but also stimulus money.
I mentioned that the last few times Chris came before the board you could feel the tension. Brenda and Jane on his case, Steve saying Chris should report to Andrews (there was definite tension between those two). Stupid Jane and Brenda and the rest of the board for not going along with Chris’s recommendation to give the two businesses on Main Street that $50,000 to redo their store fronts. When you have someone who can write a million grant just stay out of their way and let them work.
Chris has been working with Makepeace on the new development maybe they saw how good he was and offered him a job

This is a great loss to our community and puts us at serious risk for losing our grant next year. BUT, this is what the evil hypocrite elite wanted! I am sure that Karen will have a miraculous recovery now that Chris will be gone and her buddy Brenda will be calling the shots again.
Fire Mark Andrews, he is a used car salesman and he is responsible for this. Who wants to bet that Myles Burke is the next CEDA Director?

WHAT A TRAGEDY...I SMELL BRUCE LINGERING IN THE CORRIDORS OF TOWN HALL.
When he was on the Finance Committee and ready to make a move to the BIG TABLE, - he was asked to comment on why the Town was not taking advantage of its abundance of waterfront, history, prime location with volunteer and professional talent ready to serve, he answered "They [the voters] think poor". There must be money, power, votes in keeping Wareham a poor Town. The poor will always be with us, but the talent will not accept the insults being hurled from the BIG TABLE...
Where do we go from here?

The question I have been asked is "How do you spell recall?"
I would not want to be a Selectman right now, newly elected or not. I really believe, from the people I hear from on this site, that there will be a recall event and only one or maybe two Selectmen will be spared. One new, one older.
I mentioned I told a Selectman that was elected one time that the day you are elected, 50% of the people who voted for you will hate your guts. You are now one of "them". My advise was don't lose any of the 50% left, and try to stay out on the streets everyday and hope to sway maybe 10 or 15 percent you way to stay in office.
I am afraid there are some Selectmen that have exceeded the expectations of 50%.
Not very wise... thus the question asked :"How do you spell recall?"
I can assure you it will be an interesting next few months.

The dowfall of Mr. Reilly began when the BOS voted to put the supervision of him under Andrews, that was a 4-1 vote. The motion was made by Steve, the dissenting vote was Cara. This is an awful situation with so many empty storefronts in town, Makepeace building the BDOD, and two 40-B projects underway! Not to mention the Baypoint plans, we all know that Jane & Brenda don't support Baypoint. And now there is a million dollars on the line.
Kin, I do not think that Steve, Walter or Cara understand the backdoor interference they are up against. The problems at CEDA this time were the same as last time with Marilyn and they involve two people, one works in the office and one sits on the BOS. How do they couteract that behavior without stooping to the same level?

AND he's NEVER managed a municipality. So one needs to ask: How did he become a finalist for consideration as a Town Administrator ?
See the video @ Part 6. It says it all. http://takebackwareham86bos.blogspot.co … -6810.html

This, from the Town's website...seems pretty clear cut to me..Neither the BoS nor the TA are "in control" of the CEDA Director..it's SUPPOSED to be the CEDA board.
The Wareham Community and Economic Development Authority (CEDA) is a special act authority created under Chapter 270 of the Acts of 1977 and amended by Chapter 383 of the Acts of 2004. Among the capabilities afforded by the legislation, the CEDA has all the powers of an urban renewal authority under 121B and also has authority as an economic development corporation under 121C of M.G.L. The CEDA is governed by a seven-member board, appointed by the Board of Selectmen and the Community and Economic Development board members manage, control and govern the activity carried out under CEDA. The CEDA has a full-time Director, appointed by the Board of Selectmen who has full charge and supervision of the work of CEDA and its personnel.

File Under - "Another Guy the Hypocrite Elite Broucht in With Glowing Praise Only to Rip Him to Shreds on the Way Out for Not Smooching Enough Butt" (Much like how they did with John McAulliffe)
Weiner Boy in a Jeer wrote:
Chris Reilly - The soon-to-be former CEDA director agreed to be interviewed by the Observer following his resignation last week. He cancelled at the last minute, instead sending an e-mail blaming everyone else for his resignation. He also asked for corrections for a typographical error as well as what can best be described as semantics in a story published last week in the Observer.
We had a lot of respect for Reilly up until now. Throwing bombs on the way out the door is classless, especially when refusing to do so in an interview. We never quite knew why so many people had problems with him.
Now we do.
Someone demanding a correction from Weiner Boy....whodathunkit?

I've tried and will continue to request from all here on this site to stop bringing Bobo's SPEW to us. He is insignificant. He fabricates and his sources are misinformed. He is extremely negative and prefers to find (or create) the negative spin to EVERYTHING. Wareham is a blessed community and he is the poison. The best antidote is to not validate him by acknowledging anything he says. IGNORE him. Let him and his tin foil hatters stew in their spew. They ALL deserve eachother. Let them be.
Here comes the Jeer. (: ) ...
PS. Why would anyone interview with him ?
He's going to make up his own story (spin) anyway.
