This is the second day in a row that a lifeguard at Little Harbor beach is seen crouching behind the chair in the only square of shade around. This is the Summer of Safety, yet in this 90+ degree heat, the town can't find an umbrella for the life guard chairs. Kind of hard to see if someone is drowning from this vantage point. Where is the lifeguard supervisor? What are we paying this person for?

At least we know where she is and what she is doing. The Onset Pier is having money issues. Money taken in doesn't agree with the money that should have been taken in. Total lack of common sense, thank you Mr. Part Time Chief of Police for listening to the former BOS, the TA and a few of your kiss ass officers who didn't like people blogging about the P.T. Chief. Your decision to fix something that wasn't broken now has Sgt. Walcek going to the pier every night to count the money. Wonder what he will do when it still doesn't add up at the end of the night? NEVER has anyone had a problem with money at the pier until this year. NEVER did Lt. Wallace have to come to the pier because of a problem with the money rec'ts. Too many hands in the till.
Guess the next step will be to have volunteer life guards (bring your own umbrella) to work off their taxes and Sgt. Walcek will count the money from the different beach gates. The police union must be okay with this.

i have heard the same thing money is missing from the onset pier , who did they hire at the pier louie light fingers .
