the Town of North Andover's police department loses power in the Saturday storms. The logical follow-up question is: " Where was the police chief?"

fortunately for the Town of North andover, it was not a crisis.

Why is it so hard to do the right thing in the Town of Wareham? Instead of sliming in the side/back door on everything?

April, 2011, can NOT come soon enough.

Suppose the weekend storms had produced damage in both the northern & southern parts of the State.... Where would  the proposed "Superchief" have landed? Where would his priorities lie?

A reminder. The forecasting gurus have predicted a serious hurricane season. Wither thou goest, Superchief? If the category 4-5 storm hits on a Wednesday, then wareham is on its own. Conversely, a weekend landfall is bad news for North Andover. Can you believe this nonsense?

This is what you get when game-playing supercedes a professional approach to Town business. Better hope that the summer's hurricanes get pushed to the northeast by Cape Hatteras. A repeat of Hurricane Carol, which I recall hit on a Tuesday, could be a catastrophe for wareham.

And it is done this way for what, exactly........

Nota:
If memory serves me, and Lord knows my old brain isn't always reliable, when he took the part time gig he pledged his allegiance to North Andover. My guess is that is you had duel crisis' then Lt. Wallace would be pulled off e-mail duty (how insulting to a man who has worked so many years for us) and put in charge. But don't expect him to get compensated for it.
