For those who don't know this, the gavel used by Claire Smith (and Peter Balzarini) was given to the new Moderator last Monday..the gavel was graciously given by the late George Taber's family on the 10th anniversasry of his passing..
Jack Taber would have  been proud of the way Claire moderated her first Town Meeting, can't say the same for the previous nine years..
