also the ta , should be reprimanded on town meeting floor for violating warehams charter and not seeking town meeting approval to after the fact , what was happening here they the old selectman were trying to affect the ellection. and why is stanley getting 2600 for 16 hrs of work, outragious.

We need to follow IHL's lead. Sanguinet (SP) is not needed. The former BOS pushed for the new cruisers before the election, for their benefit. I feel this should have gone out to bid - PERIOD. No little loop holes allowing the TA to make large sum purchases or LEASES! Get rid of Stanley. He didn't get us the new cruisers - this was a combined effort with the BOS & TA to look good.

They told all of us that we got them by a grant...never mentioned anything about us being on the hook over the next three years for a quarter million dollars..and did it all before the election..complete with a drive around for the BoS/photo op..
When asked why it was done without first getting TM approval..basically what Andrews said was..we really, really, really needed them...Oh, OK..procedure can be ignored as long as the results are what certain people think are the appropriate results..anyone else see a pattern here?
I plan to vote against the appropriation of the funds for the cruisers..Let them get the money by finally getting rid of Sanguinet..Next time do it right.

This BOS KNEW that when they recommended the cruisers not be purchased that it would be at least a year before the opportunity to address it again came up. Even when TM discussed leaving the appropriation and allowing Butt Monkey to decide whether to make the purchase or not the Board opposed that idea (Geoff Swett made that motion). Suddenly when they realized that they were in a deep pile of shit they decided to buy cruisers and get Sweet Brucey's picture in the front (as opposed to his regular seat in the back). The voters didn't fall for it April 6th and they won't fall for it at TM.
Sadly the previous Board has never bothered to listen to their constituents. They always knew better then everyone else. Everyone else is sick of being told what is right for them. I expect that should the behavior of Jane and Brenda continue they will both be handed their behinds at the polls next April.
The question now is whether anyone has or will report this purchase to the IG and how much hot water we will be in.

Actually, it was Mick Jones' idea to do it the way they did in order to illustrate how town business will be conducted when we adopt the form of government he will be recommending tonight. Thanks Mick.
