One of the first orders of business is to get approval of past meeting minutes out from under the consent agenda.  These meeting minutes need to be scrutinized more carefully, as I'm sure they leave out important information on what exactly has transpired over the past few weeks.  Also discussing the content of past meeting minutes will also allow the new board members to come up to speed with what's been happening, both in the public light and behind the scenes.

These minutes should detail the selection process of our new police chief and building inspector.  I have a nagging feeling that they don't delve into that kind of detail.  It's time to find out why.

The beginning of this meeting was damage control for Jane..Not too long ago, she and the ex-Moderator were bashing the Police Officers, telling anyone willing to listen that they were racists!..Now, wanting to push her agenda of supporting the new Chief, she reaps praise on these same Officers..

Welcome to the Jane as Chairman era..and thankfully, the Claire as Moderator era!
