CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU!!!
You TOOK BACK WAREHAM.
I am so proud of all of you and I know that you will start work tomorrow to support your new Selectmen and to gather around again to defeat ridiculous articles at Town Meeting and to gather candidates to take out the rest of the non-deserving.
You are blessed to have a historian of unequaled proportions for your Moderator.
No doubt Ms. Conway will not disappear.
Once again, thank you.
See you soon!!!

And a big thank you from me also, Bill.

For far too long a time, your site was the only real opposition to a political machine whose hallmarks are arrogance, venality and entitlement.  Without it, I don't know that a viable opposition could have ever developed, let alone coalesced into the town-wide movement towards greater accessibility, responsibility and respectability whose success we enjoy tonight.

You kept the flame lit when others despaired, and for that your town owes you a tremendous debt.

This site need not die. as the new powers that be need  some one to answer to. Bill keep it going. Just because we have a change in people we don’t  have a change in what we want unless we keep the pressure on.

I don't believe that Bill has any intention of shutting down this site. I believe that he is speechless. I believe that a dream he once thought was unattainable and virtually impossible has just started to come true.
Bill will fight to save Wareham until he draws his last breath...or until one of us really pisses him off...
I am proud to know Bill.

Amen!  Tonight is a beginning, not an ending.  There remains much to be done:

supporting viable challengers for the two selectman's seats up for grabs next spring;

killing the Westfields boondoggle once and for all;

protecting our present form of government from those whom we just expelled tonight - who plainly sought to be paid with our money for their incompetence under a mayoral system;

stopping this ridiculous paranoid witch hunt against the Town's employees couched in the guise of a "computer audit" to find non-existent wrongdoing;

finding a way to avoid paying exorbitant legal fees to outside town counsel that seldom provides accurate research, good advice or successful defense of the town's interests; and

continuing to restore dignity to our political interactions.

4000 Wareham residents, twice as many that usually turn out, pouring into the polls to dethrone Sweet Brucey as the Supreme Overlord of the People's Republik of Wareham! The Hypocrite Elite is no more!  A massive mandate of the masses crying out that they are mad as hell and tired of the Bobo the Loser Scumbag!!!

Oh you miserable scumbags, you dirtbags deserved each and every inch of this disgraceful defeat.  Wareham threw you bums out and then some.

Don't let the door hit your asses on the way out.

I don't believe for a moment that the registered voters in Wareham is accurate. It is difficult for me to believe that a Town with probably 20 to 22 thousand full time residents has over 15 thousand voters.
Let's see what the census says.
I think nearly 4000 votes is a miracle in a local election, especially in Wareham where the turnout has been poor even with National and State races.
Be proud...lots of people voted, and lots of people believe in the future of Wareham under new competent leadership by real people that have been elected to office.
Like I said before...not a phony in the bunch.
I don't expect that we will be reading the troll's trash much longer. I think the money train left the same station the peace train just pulled out of..."ALL ABOARD!"

Dan-O, I had to change the "Peace Train" to the "Trash Train" to haul away all of the trash out of town hall that the voters just sent packing.  Oh, so much trash, so little train!!!
