If those signs were cards, they'd look like a winning hand to this Ham of Peace!

Steve Holmes, Cara Winslow - Selectman
Claire Smith - Moderator
Melodye Conway - Town Clerk
School Committee - Rhonda Veugen
Question 1 - Yes
Question 2 - No
Frank, I think you're a good man, but what can I do? I only have two votes. I hope that Frank voters will also vote for one other challenger.

Ham:
Just back from the polls where I understand the Frank supporters were being rather uncivil to the Cara supporters. The word on the street is one of his supporters yelled out at Cara as she walked by that she wouldn't vote for her but felt Cara should vote for Frank. It is also rumored that his supporters were not playing nice at the Decas school.
Now that is restoring civility!
I also heard that Cronin was at the VFW being very pleasant to all and that the Donahue supporters have been told not to take any food or drink from the opponents. I sincerely hope the last rumor is not true at all. Everyone holding signs today should be commended. It is a tough job to do!

Back from the polls. I had my windows closed as I pulled into the VFW parking lot and so didn't hear what was being shouted. Cruz was still there with his Donahue sign. The sign holders all seemed motivated but respectful, although a woman in a grey shirt holding a Defilice sign did lunge quite aggressively toward my vehicle as I passed, holding her sign out like a lance.
While I admire her enthusiasm, scaring one of our elderly drivers in this manner may lead to unintended consequences - so if anyone connected to the Defilice campaign reads this, please pass along my concern.
