There are 17 openings on the committees posted below. Do you think if Bob Brady applied for all of them that our selectman would reject him for all positions. I see there is an opening on the library board of trustees. I thought they had filled all the trustee jobs.

Larry,
This morning's print version of the Wall Street journal listed as ZERO (0), the percentage chance that the Washington Nationals, the Cleveland Indians, or the Pittsburgh Pirates will make the playoffs this year.
The on-line version has updated that. They have added BBrady & LarryM to the list, as having ZERO (0) chance of serving on a committee under the current regime.
Sorry to have to pass that along. Try to accept it in the spirit of the Ham of Peace. Serenity Now!

Nota,
It's a shame we are long odds to get on a board. Wouldn't it be nice if all segments of the community were given an equal opportunity to serve on boards and committees? I know the BB Coalition took the "all inclusive" approach and it works.
Just as an update, a certain Gnome is interested in the COA. She is an angel and a great researcher.
I'll take 5 bucks on Alan Slavin serving on another 4 other boards in the next 6 months.

Larry I think you or Gnome would be great on any of these committees. How does this process work. Do you fill out the application and then you wait until you are put on the selectman's agenda?

We are filling out applications this weekend. Then we will wait to see if we get an interview and/or appointment.
