Yes Citizens of Wareham! Watch us work! We will be civil to all citizens that come for citizen's participation, especially those that throw us easy questions! We will blame everything on the evil people that take away from their lives to attend Town Meeting and excercise their right to vote. We will show you how well we work with the WPD, even though we spent 3 years strangling their budget and speaking badly about them any chance we got!
We will tell you how regurgitating Westfield is not an affront to the citizens that voted it down. It's all about the seniors! Wait, it's true we haven't done a darn thing about senior housing since it was voted down, but we want Westfield gosh darnit and that is all that matters. We will continue to ignore senior housing until we get Westfield.
We will follow the laws and rules. Those multiple open meeting violations were just mistakes on our part.
We will blame the evil hate bloggers and push for a change to our charter, but we want the people to know we are kind, nice, and care about everyone (until the election is over)
Isn't it time for new leadership? Peace and harmony to all!
Larry of Peace

Gather around, Fellow Peace Bloggers, it's time for a bedtime story from the Ham of Peace:
Once upon a time, there was a pair of naughty little boys. All year long, they were oh so naughty. They would track mud all over the clean kitchen floor, their hands were always in the cookie jar, and they'd bully all the other kids in the neighborhood.
Then at the end of the year, on Dec. 1, as everyone started putting up their Christmas decorations, the naughty boys realized that they'd better straighten up and try to cram all of the niceness they can into the next few weeks in the hopes that Santa will still bring them presents.
So the boys washed the kitchen floor, they stayed away from the cookie jar, and they tried to hug all the kids in the neighborhood. And then they prayed. "Oh Santa, please ignore that we were naughty little kids all year long because we were nice the last couple of weeks!"
They woke up Christmas morning, checked their stockings, and found lumps of coal and a note from Santa. "Dear Naughty Boys, Sorry, it's nice that you were nice for a few weeks, but it doesn't erase you being naughty all year long! Enjoy the coal!"
And then many years later, the Christmas strategy of these boys would be adopted by Selectmen Sweet Brucie and Cronie.
"Look at us, Wareham! Forget the past three years of sheer, miserable hell we put this town through! We're being nice for a few weeks before election! Elect us and we'll be nice again for a few weeks in March of 2013!"
Will Wareham elect people who are nice for a few weeks in March every three years....or will they elect candidates that are nice for three years straight? Tune in April 6 to find out.
