As I heard it from the horse's ass himself, Sweet Brucie recused himself from SRPEDD to advocate on behalf of a Power Elitist Makepeace project in Wareham for what he described as, "a conflict of interest".

You can't make up this stuff.

http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1P2-7778571.html Here is an oldie. Mr. Savegneau only won his seat by getting 417 votes. The sadder part is only about 800 people voted that day. Those are pretty sad numbers.

And talk about every vote counting. The race was a squeeker with Bruce only managing to win by 34 votes.

GWB,
I've said it for as long as I can remember, voter apathy is what got the current Selectmen elected. We need to combat the apathy with information. Tell a friend, family member, neighbor, anyone what is at stake. A good voter turnout (much like the increase in attendance at town meeting) spells trouble for encumbents. They cannot rest on their laurels because they have mucked up the town badly.

Truth, facts, and pride will go a long way towards a change in Wareham.

And if the votes 'not for him' hadn't been divided between so many other candidates, he would not have won at all.

Actually no that is the even sadder part Mixe. Only two candidates that year. Him and James Clemmey. Only 800 people out of a possible 15000 bothered to come out and vote that day.

This is why it is very important to get the four candidates to meet and decide on just two of them and then have the other two that drop out announce their withdrawal from the race and ask all their supporters to support the other two candidates. Otherwise the split could hurt us and help the other two candidates who have failed miserable while in the position.

Yes, I have to agree.  All four candidates on the good side are all good people, but strategically, we can't go into the election splitting the vote on the good side.  That's only giving the Hypocrite Elite what they want.
