We have just learned that Mr. Andrews has approved our request for a used book sale for Feb. 26 and 27 at the library. This is great news. We are OVERSTOCKED with books since we did not have our January sale, so please come and stock up on great buys. Please tell your families and friends too!!

We have not been given a copy of the new meeting guidelines for town buildings, but we know enough not to look a gift horse in the mouth, or bite the hand that feeds us, or cut off our noses to spite our faces, so we aren't complaining!!!

Now I hope that the Acting Director will fill out one of the forms she insisted we create to ask us to purchase books and materials with the money we earned from the Holiday Fair, the Facebook page donation and the proceeds of this book sale because if we don't meet the requirements, we won't get certified next year. And we all know the Friends are Friendly folks, but we can't make any purchases anymore without the new forms and a request from the AD.

In other news, the Friends, former Trustees and Foundation members have learned that the settlement agreement was signed by the BoS. (This is the same agreement they refused to sign in December.) I will be getting a copy soon. As to the whereabouts of the $50,000 for the town, I have a copy of the check dated 12/31/09 and I am currently trying to run it down to see where it is. Will keep you informed.
