www.cyberbullying.com wrote:

"Cyberbullying" is when a child, preteen or teen is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another child, preteen or teen using the Internet, interactive and digital technologies or mobile phones. It has to have a minor on both sides, or at least have been instigated by a minor against another minor. Once adults become involved, it is plain and simple cyber-harassment or cyberstalking. Adult cyber-harassment or cyberstalking is NEVER called cyberbullying.

For those who are unclear of the definition or how it is applied, I wanted to provide this link.

No need to thank me :)

i think a loooong expose should be written sometime in the future to inform the citizenry what the candidates and their supporters talk about on their public website.

Rob, heres a caption for your pic..

i have to respond to those who think their going to intimidate honest people.
hey larry and your gnome wonder.......listen up. you hurt me by copying my comment to your hate site.....i'm really hurt.
oh yea, there is a lot of hate on rob's site. all that vulgarity and disturbing imagery. oh thats right, this is NOT YOUR posting site of preference!
being from tennessee you should understand that people in any good town don't like carpetbaggers. sound familiar?
now maybe your just pining for the days of having sunday picnics in nashville under the statue of your great humanitarian nathan bedford forrest. or maybe you long for a nice evening outing with the boys around the bon fire, but this is not tennessee.
we are not that clannish up here. why do you think a revolution started here and not down there? you know our ancestors fought for the rights you and your friends can't wait to trample on.
unfortunately wareham does have some less than admirable people in this town. short miserable trolls who would rather watch nascar than actually strive for intellectual fulfillment.
and please, real intellectuals would do something more with their lives than be a past president of a group that puts books on a shelf. i think they have automatons and quicken books that are built to do those jobs.
you know.....T.E.C.H.N.O.L.O.G.Y. we have that up here larry. it's not magic. no sky demons spitting fire. it comes about through education. or in ihateliz's case.....school house rock, conjunction junction might have been beneficial (or at least use that T.E.C.H.N.O.L.O.G.Y. called spell check, help him out sonny).
all we can say is at least ihs remembers conjunction junction. (on a side not, the school house rock 30th anniversary collection is available on dvd from amazon for 12.99)
i don't like to troll in the mud, but this attempted intimidation is becoming tiring.

I agree, a long reveal in an article would be an excellent idea!

Ouch. Did this guy just insult all the new library volunteers who will be putting books on shelves? Maybe gramyk can scold him on this one!! She's in charge of the new automatons, I mean volunteers.

Good thing we are being civil here, or I'd have something "intellectual" to say!!

Question for viking--how do you know what I'm doing with my life? Have you been cyber-stalking me??!!

I find viking to be intellectually supreme!
I often wondered why the Revolutionary War took place up north, Concord, Beacon Hill, etc.
I always thought it was because there were only 13 Colonies at that time involved. I didn't realize the south was organized and just didn't want to get involved.
Well..you learn something every day!.
I also didn't know carpetbaggers existed during the Revolutionary War. I thought they appeared on the scene after the Civil War.
Oh well...what do I know?

Hey, here's something funny:

By: robertslager on 2/14/10It's funny, but my attitude about the hate bloggers has changed. They've been so over-the-top ridiculous lately I'm actually starting to feel sorry for them. If all they can do on Valentine's Day is spend time on a computer anonymously spewing hatred than they must not have a drop of love in their heart. I find that sad.

It's funny because this Bobo quote topped a thread in which Bobo spent from 7 pm till midnight on Valentine's Day night bitching about how the bloggers had nothing to do but make fun of him on a Valentine's Day night.

Hypocrisy, thy name is Bobo.

Uglyness too.

Bobo you can't let your hatred of a woman deceased for a year and a half go, that you still feel the need to spew lies about her, and you want to talk about who has ice in their heart?  Get yourself a mirror sometime and take a good long look.  That is, if you can find a mirror strong enough that won't break from having to reflect your ugly face.

Thank you Dan for making my point. My son was chomping at the bit to point out the difference between the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. Just a side note: If you use TECHNOLOGY, there is www.google.com. It can be a live saver when you are insulting someone :) I am just trying to help out Viking!

To further the point, the organization which he makes reference did not just hate african americans. They attacked catholics, american indians, and jews. It is particularly offensive that Viking would insinuate my involvement based on the fact that I am Irish(Catholic)/Cherokee. The ACLU also found his comments to be offensive. More on that at a later date :)

Slager defined us as a "hate site".  He urges his bloggers to be civil - no personal attacks - nastiness - or defamation will be allowed on his site.

BillW has given a few chances to our bloggers and if they continue to screw up in the above manner, they have been banned.

I find Viking's blog to be offensive, nasty and full of personal attacks.  I believe Mr. Slager should put more emphasis on his rules of blogging.

Bornof..I agree completely. "They" will just be "aghast" that we would say one of "them" could possibly have said something offensive..But, that's exactly how I feel about Viking's comments to Larry suggesting the KKK, and other verbal "attacks". For all the clamoring they do about us. A little "self-policing" needs to be done over there (IMO)..You have a true blue bigot in your midst Bobo..Way to moderate, Assclown.

Breaking news Viking will no longer post on the hatesite (bobo's)

I just want to point out a couple things to consider here.
First, Slager's site is moderated by Slager. Not only did Viking submit the offensive post, Slager had to approve it in order for it to appear. That makes Slager as guilty as Viking. It also makes his disclaimer nothing but lip service.

On this site, it is unmoderated and I believe Bill does a much better job of policing this site.

That's all I will be saying on this subject. The post was offensive to me and made more offensive because the Moderator (Slager) allowed it to be posted.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Elks Man of the Year!

What the means is the the person posting as Viking will not longer post as Viking.  It doesn't matter at this point. Nothing short of a public apology or a direct apology will suffice.
