It sounded like Sweet Brucey will be back Tuesday night, based on predictions with Bobo's miniscule crystal balls, and it is cute how those two keep in touch even when Brucey is far away in Mexico.

Did I miss the fireworks? I thought there was supposed to be fireworks. The meeting was um a like um a real snooze.

One good thing is getting rid of K and P. In my opinion, the money the taxpayers (you and me) paid for these legal hacks was a waste. It's about time. A day late and $375,000 short for the town, long for K and P.

On the computer disks, looks like K and P won't get paid for all that fine tooth comb work they did. Ha ha.

If that was the big fireworks, that was a pop and nothing else. The information on putting non-binding referendums on the ballot was incomplete (surprise). What uhmm she uhmm failed to mention is that it will require signatures from 10% of the registered voters for it to happen. Uhmm, okay!

Wow..another prediction by the omnipotent Bobby goes fizzle?

They've still managed to delay doing ANYTHING concerning Affordable Housing alternatives to Westfield or taken any action as far as calling for a Civil Service test, the two Articles Sweet Brucey said would be put on the ballot (when he called people at Town Meeting "ugly people with black hearts"...To listen to the TFHC, it is Take Back Wareham's responsibility to come up with alternatives to Westfield (geez, "we're" to blame for everything).

Sweet Brucey couldn't resist "apologizing" to Cronie..because Cronie had (apparently) received some "unkind" phone calls recently..Brucey stated that's "one of the reason's I don't have a home phone anymore"...What other reason's might there be?? Maybe you didn't pay your bill (a la Bobo)? Also, Brucey mentioned he'd been wearing a speedo for the last month (ewww, sorry for the mental image)..Now, he's just itching to have one of us come up with a photo of that. Should I leave this one alone??

Possible theory based on something Sweet Brucey said last night:  Sweet Brucey doesn't run again because a year has to go by between being in office and getting employment with the town.  Brucey then attempts next year to get hired as town counsel.  Hopefully, by then, we will have two good leaders on the board from this year's election, but next year there will still be three Hypocrite Elitists on the board, so he may be able to slip in with a 3-2 vote.

Scary thought, isn't it?

Brucey said he GRADUATED from law school. That doesn't mean he has taken the bar exam, nor that he passed the bar exam. Surely the town wouldn't hire an "attorney" who didn't pass the bar? We have an accountant without a degree, an acting library director with no clue about how to run a library a TA who was NOT a TA in his last job. Don't get me started.

This is where I would normally make lawyer jokes, but I think the two law school graduates mentioned above certainly provide the humor on their own.

I do believe Bruce will run again. His ego is too big.

Personally, It doesn't matter to me if he runs or not. I only wish the other two stooges (Jane and uhmmm Brenda) were up for election.

We need new leadership and April 6 is coming soon!

I understand that the next bar exam will be held in late February. Brucie "graduated" from a school that has a history of a low bar passage rate. Only time will tell.

On the issue of the computer disks. What can we conclude from this? The IG has all 84 disks. The town will get 69 back. The other 15 will go directly back to the police dept. The BoS can decide to give the 69 back to the forensic company for review (maybe K and P will go over the results with a REAL fine tooth comb this time!)

Now, if the IG has the discs they will examine them at no charge to the town--especially the ones from the "evil" library and the "corrupt" municipal maintenance departments. So, why should the town now pay for the forensic company to do the same thing? Let's see some fiscal responsibility.

It also implies to me that the rumors were correct--the town had no right to copy sensitive material from the police department computers and hand them over to an outside forensic company.  That tells me the DA, while the grand jury did not find against the BoS, did not think the town should have copied the police computers which could compromise evidence and confidentiality. Of course, I can't read the DA's mind on this, but the way they returned the disks tells us something. Why not give all 84 back to the BoS??

I, for one, am happy that the IG will review the library's computer disks. We know the investigators are not being paid by the BoS as the forensic company is, and we know the disks are not being looked at by the DA who has been accused of covering up the library scandal, so the IG's evaluation and determinations will be unbiased and will have to be accepted for what it is.

This will be one more way that the IG's office will prove that the embezzlement scheme is a complete hoax. I wonder how the investigators will feel about spending/wasting so much of their time on a complete fabrication. Can they press charges for something like that?

Lack of transparency: Did you all hear Janie scold Brucie for reading the letter about the computer disks giving the details? She said they decided that he was just supposed to give the "salient" details from the letter--that the town got the disks back. Got to love that transparency Janie!!
