Municipal Maintenance Worker Richard( Big Daddy ) Lamothe passed away on Saturday. Richard dedicated 14 years of his life to the town of Wareham. 2 as a custodian at the Town Hall. The last 12 as a truck driver for the town barn. He was a very good man. He will be sorely missed.

Richard Lamothe, 59, of East Wareham, died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at his home unexpectedly.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Herve and Irene (Ayotte) Lamothe.
A previous resident of Woonsocket, he moved to Wareham 12 years ago. Richard was employed for the Town of Wareham Municipal Maintenance Department.
He is survived by his sister, Suzanne Sorel of New Bedford.
A funeral service will be held on Fri., Feb. 5, 2010 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 1:00 PM. Visiting hours will be Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM prior to the service. Interment will be in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham.
