I normally laugh when the little man with a big ego writes another of his editorials. He slings accusations and lies in an attempt to distract all 10 of his readers from the real issues facing Wareham. His latest effort is about as confusing as how a journalist could have such poor spelling and comprehension skills.
A local group is encouraging citizens of Wareham to get out and vote. This group has made it a point to NOT endorse any candidate and has shown no bias. Based on the special election on January 19th, it has been proven that people are shedding their apathy and returning to the voter booth. I, for one, applaud the effort of this group. However, the little man has taken another opportunity to turn this into a conspiracy. Why? God only knows.
But this group is not interested in democracy for the sake of democracy. It only wants to improve the chances of its own slate of candidates.
Again, they have not encouraged ANYONE to vote for a specific candidate, only to get out and vote.
Once these people were known as the “Citizens for a Better Wareham,” an organization that catered to the special interest groups in town. Then, after they were exposed for the political partisans they were, they changed their name to Take Back Wareham.
Exactly who are these people? I want to caution anyone reading this that there is NO ORGANIZATION named Take Back Wareham. If the little man can name the officers of Take back Wareham I would sure appreciate it. I own the website addresses for Take Back Wareham, but I did that to make sure that no one could get those web addresses and do something "weird" with them. There is no hosted content for the alleged Take Back Wareham. I have never been to a Take Back Wareham meeting and I can attest that it is a slogan being used by a variety of people in an effort to bring this town back to ALL people and not a selected group.
Members of VoteApril6 refuse to publicly indentify themselves. The reason why is clear. They want to fool people into thinking they are part of a grassroots campaign to encourage people to vote. If their true motive was revealed they would be discredited as they have been under previous incarnations. They are not the incumbents in the upcoming election. These are people supporting the challengers.
They are people who running a grassroots campaign to encourage people to vote! They aren't fooling anyone! Their true motives have been revealed! They are encouraging each and every citizen to get out and vote? IF the incumbents aren't behind this campaign then they should be! I've heard the Chairman of the Selectmen, Bruce Sauvageau encourage voters to attend town meeting, so why wouldn't he be encouraging people to get out and vote?
Again, this little little man has come out against an effort to encourage citizens of Wareham to vote. This is the same person who has also started to attack citizens who have taken out papers for the two selectmen seats that are on the ballot. I think he has already shown his bias! And yet, the citizens behind the Wareham Vote April 6 have yet to do anything but encourage citizens to vote. If you have to wonder who is bias, I think you have your answer. It's the little man behind the curtain. ....Shame on him!

Larry! Larry! Larry!
Assclown, your always spouting off about "free speech"..and then you consistently reveal your support of censorship by whining over and over and over again about images and language on this site. You claim boycotts are un-American..and go on and on (and on) about a boycott of your paper..What boycott? Shut the hell up about how mistreated you were by the giant, collosal boycott. All in all it was a brief "suggestion" on this site and it was completey "American"...You've played the race card and "worked" the "Meals on Wheels" seniors for votes with lies and improper, maybe illegal, use of Meals on Wheels as a delivery service of your partisan RAG...and now you claim that attempting to get more people to vote is a scam? Did you grow up on one of those "Cult Farms" in California a la "the Manson Family"?? Because I'm guessing you missed a few of the basics. It's not too late Bobo the Assclown. Make your way to an Adult Learning Center...quickly!!

In that same article, the Assclown wrote:

Really? Please help me find it. You might want to try here.
What?? Nothing there?? Maybe you can see if TBW is a PAC based on the MGL here.
Still no luck? Well, looks like you got another one wrong, Assclown. Better luck next time.

This quote keeps coming back to make me laugh:
But this group is not interested in democracy for the sake of democracy. It only wants to improve the chances of its own slate of candidates
So what he is saying is that voter apathy helps the candidates he supports? Wow, that is quite a statement! Essentially, if people show up to vote, that is a bad thing? Are you kidding me? The more people that show up, the more citizens of this town are taking an interest in who they want as leadership for this town. That is a good thing!
A little man who doesn't have a vote and really isn't a factor telling us NOT to vote because the more people that show up to vote means his choice of candidates can't count on voter apathy! Excellent editorial!
This deserves a cheer!

Larry, that is funny. OK Bobo, thanks for proving our point. The more disenfranchised and jaded the voting populace is, the more likely your side is to win. Great, good to know, tells us alot about the people you support, thanks for playing, dingus.
