To be noted from the article--"Donahue said that audit [during McAulliffe's brief tenure] wasn’t done because “the selectmen can’t get involved in day-to-day business."  Ha ha. That's not what she told a friend of mine. To paraphrase--we hire the TA and so we are the TA's boss. Therefore, we can tell the TA what to do. I'd call that day to day.

And "Eckstrom said she hopes "this is just the beginning of finding a lot of the problems in town."  Nothing like having a positive attitude. Who will be in the cross hairs next? It is Wareham bos after all.

Did Jane really say that the BOS "Can't get involved in day to day business"?

But Janey, you did when it came to telling Mark Gifford how much snow should be on the ground before sending out the plows.  What a liar and a disgrace you are to this beautiful town, no thanks to you or the current BOS.
