DA continues probe of Wareham board's secret sessions

Sweet Brucey said, in defense of their transparency at the untelevised "workshop":

Chairman Bruce Sauvageau criticized The Standard-Times, accusing the newspaper of "manufacturing" stories.

Bob Unger, editor of The Standard-Times, called Sauvageau's remark "nonsense."

"Mr. Sauvageau has been the subject of several stories in The Standard-Times about his bullying behavior and his personal tax problems," Unger said. "If anyone manufactured those stories, it was Mr. Sauvageau by his actions, and not us. Further, we will continue pushing the Board of Selectmen and the town administrator, to follow open meeting and public records law — something they clearly aren't very good at. The Plymouth County District Attorney's office and the Secretary of State's office ultimately are going to make them do it."

...Bravo, Mr. Unger & Mr. Urbon.

"And I will continue to press my lips up against Brucey's butt so hard that a vaccuum seal is formed!" said Cub Reporter Bobo.
