Good morning to all!!!

Only 5 days left to the food drive to benefit Fr. (soon to be Saint) Damien's Pantry. Sean and I visited the Pantry last week, and I must tell you seeing the people there lined up for food, and the look in the children's eyes was a very sad but enlightening experience.

The fact is right here in our community we have children going to bed hungry at night. I've been part of many charitable ventures in my life, but seeing the children's faces is the part that always hits me the hardest.

Yes, Steve is tugging at your heart strings.

Please be generous to the drive this week, if you have some food and cannot make it to Stop N Shop we will pick it up.

If you have an hour or two to spare to help collect the food, please call.

This issue in our community is not complicated, there are no sides to be on, there are no opinions, just the simple fact, our fellow citizens and their children are going to bed, and waking up to go to school hungry.

I realize we will not solve the problem with one food drive, but you can make a difference. We wil continue this effort, with additional events in the near future to provide food and clothing for our neighbors.

Please give generously, of some food or your time.

No one will know who you are, if you post anonymously use your real name when calling.

Call 508-536-5612 today!!!

Thanks
Steve

Steve,
If we could get a letter on letterhead, I could push this in other places outside of Wareham. I tried the number for the organizaiton, but it has been disconnected. Any thoughts on how to get this?

I listened to this song today and thought it fit "Take Back Wareham"  perfectly! Be proud to be a part of this movement!  To many names to list, thanks to all of you!

Thank you.  I watched and listened to this video.  The grand marches in Washington started out by a few people who got together to talk about what they could do to make this country or a little small town better. They pointed out the problems, they made people aware of these problems and by doing that, the problems were brought out from under the carpet.  We won't be marching on Washington.  We have pointed out our problem areas in Wareham's government.  People ARE being made aware of them and now they are out in the open.  We don't like "spying" on our town hall "players", but they have left us no choice, but to be watchful of every single little thing that they do and say.  No, we won't be marching on Washington, but I sincerely hope that we have the support of our fellow Wareham citizens and that WE WILL MARCH INTO TOWN MEETING AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!  We can do this.  We MUST do this.             Thank you again.

Fucking hippies.

David Crosby's first demo of that song surfaced just a few months ago. Hear for yourself but I like it better.

Steve, I don't know if I'm going to be able to get down there (I'll try-could you repost times & places). I don't think I have a bunch of "extra" stuff in the cupboards, either.
And, I don't have alot extra $$$ to spare but, if I write you a check, can you do a little grocery shopping for me? I'll call you tomorrow.

Feel free to hop on board my fellow "hatebloggers"

Great cause, good man.

Friday noon - 7 and Saturday 8-6 at the Stop N SHop Wareham.

Every hour counts you don't need to be ther all the time, if you can spare an hour or two that would be great.

Remember also Sunday he will go from Fr Damien to Saint Damien.

Excellent first day. Thanks to all that helped. A special thanks to Paul for coming over with the big truck. There was no way all that food was going to fit in the Expedition.

We will be back at Stop N Shop tomorrow between 8am and 6pm anyone free for an hour or so would be very helpful especially between 10 and 2pm.

Thanks again and hope to see you tomorrow.
