Not sure which is more disturbing, that Bobo apparently thinks he was some kind of integral part of the Zodiac investigation because he allegedly met the reporter that investigated Zodiac, or that Bobo apparently thinks that critics of the selectmen are as bad as the Zodiac killer, and his investigation into who is hurting Sweet Brucey's feelings is as harrowing as Avery's investigation into a notorious serial killer.
Bobo, I saw that Zodiac movie. It was a good movie. I didn't see you at all in it. You didn't have anything to do with the Zodiac investigation. You're trying to make your tin foil hat rubes think you were because you're from San Francisco and Zodiac happened in San Francisco. You were just a kid when it happened. Your father hadn't even turned to the bottle to get over his disappointment in you yet.
I have doubts if he even met Paul Avery, but even if he did, he's basically just name-dropping, (I met a famous person in passing once, so let me bring his name up over and over in the hopes that some of their fame will rub off on me!)
Question - If Bobo really did work with all these famous reporters, is it safe to say that said reporters didn't think very much of him, because why else would he end up putting out a profitless rag in a small New England town if he had such influential connections?
I can tell you, based on Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Paul Avery, Avery wouldn't have much respect for a reporter who makes an entire career out of being a Brucey butt smoocher. Based on the movie, Avery was a tough guy whose lips were not going near anyone's butts.
Pretty pathetic, Bobo.

Ham,
This is par for course. I have never seen a journalist write so much about himself in his articles and editorials as MuffinMan does.

I told her I entered the world of journalism before the profession was infested by corporate greed and desperation. I remember the first day I walked into the San Francisco Examiner, a 21-year-old kid pressed and cleaned, ready to change the world and wound so tight I could have cut a diamond with my teeth. Bucky Walters, who had been pumping out prose since the 1930s, looked up at me underneath the plume of cigar smoke rising above the rim of his brown Fedora. “Hey kid,” he growled. “Get me some coffee. Black.”
Then I watched him pour a little something into his cup before he resumed pounding on his typewriter.
"Muffinman"
Ham, what was the title of the "Zodiac" movie?
-edit- Just looked it up, It's "Zodiac". Duh! Never saw it (yet).

I started watching "Zodiac", and during the first murder scene, the song playing on the radio (apparently is "Hurdy Gurdy Man" by Donovan-I had to look it up). But the lyrics caught me.
... hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy he sang Here comes the roly-poly man. He's singing songs of love Roly poly, roly poly, roly poly poly he sang Hurdy gurdy, ...
New titles in play. "Hurdy Gurdy Man" & "Roly Poly Man" (and I think "Muffin Man" is a keeper). oops, I almost forgot, "Bobodiac" goes right to the top o' the charts.

As I watched "Zodiac", and previously re-watched "Secret Window" when we were "blogging" about it awhile back. The word that Ham picked hits the nail on the head, "DISTURBING". These stories are both about "psychopathic" murderous character's. One is fictional (Secret Window/"Mort/John Shooter"), and the other not (Zodiac). I just find these "coincidental" references to be a disturbing trend.
Bobo, either get help or try and become a fictional novelist (good luck). Man, your really starting to worry me.

Couldn't help but notice that Bobo says he met Avery at the San Francisco Examiner, and yet in the movie preview posted by PShooter, there is a scene with Jake Gyllenhaal outside of a building that says "San Francisco Chronicle" and then again, Avery and Graysmith (Avery's partner played by Gyllenhaal) are in the newsroom with "San Francisco Chronicle" on the wall.
You sure about your story there, Bobo? I hope you wouldn't fib about facts so verifiable that movies were made about them.
