Remember, this bos was spanked by the state for violating open meeting law when they made their vote to hire McAuliffe in private session. I don't imagine they will do that again.

This is the most important position in the town. I think they actually did a good job hiring McAuliffe who quickly learned the truth about the bos and their foray into day to day management. He stood up against them in favor of doing what was right for the town. So, I guess we can't expect them to hire another candidate similar to McAuliffe. Too bad. The town has suffered greatly since he was given the old heave-ho. I met him and liked him. He was so enthusiastic. One of his beliefs was getting a town to feel good about itself and have a sense of town spirit. He liked the idea of the swan festival and cranberry festival and wanted to promote more community efforts. Instead, the morale in this town could not get any lower.

I'm off to NH today and hope to peep a few leaves on my way. But good luck to the food drive people. I bet if McAuliffe was still our TA he'd be there right along with you. Let me know if the butt monkey shows up, or any of the bos. LOL.
