- » MOVE WAREHAM BACKWARD TO SCREEN BOS QUESTIONS A WEEK IN ADVANCE!
#1 2009-10-06 20:41:04
BREAKING NEWS: The Halifax Hobo/Spokesman of an alleged Wareham group has announced on his site that a date has been set for the Move Wareham Backward meeting and all questions for the BOS/Other town officials on the panel must be submitted one week in advance.
TRANSLATION: This will no doubt be a well-rehearsed and choreographed production rivaling a high school production of "Guys and Dolls." No doubt all praising questions along the lines of "Selectmen, why are you so awesome and wonderful?" will go right to the top of the list. No doubt tough, critical questions along the lines of "Sweet Brucey, when will you pay your taxes?" will be thrown right into the trash can.
This is an outrage! Will critical questions of the selectmen be screened out? How incompetent are these selectmen that they need an entire week to write and rehearse their speechs, work on their fake tears, and coordinate this production?
The million dollar question - why is Ace Reporter Bobo for this? I thought Ace Reporters always demand spontaneous hard hitting questions, not a well rehearsed song and dance number.
If any citizens submit questions that are critical of the selectmen and are screened out, please post them on this site so the public can learn what the selectmen don't want you to know!

I cant understand for the life of my why the folks at "MOVE WAREHAM FORWARD" need an out of town opinion paper reporter to be the mouthpiece for this organization??? The other thing that is odd is who the site is registered to, Out of State??? This so called reporter has proven again and again that he does nothing but start conflicts and fight with citizens (THAT ACTUALLY LIVE IN THIS TOWN). The first thing that organization needs to do is cut their Umbilical cord from this loose cannon, that would be there first big move forward.

They can't. They don't care about "moving Wareham forward", they are afraid of the unknown. That would be the group of concerned and caring citizens from Wareham who are honest, curious and have integrity. MWF is just a diversion, a move to separate the citizens. I am sure you will find many citizens who truly don't know what the groups stand for. We need to shout it out and let everyone know about "Take Wareham Back" and what we stand for.

Ham, ham, ham
you must not have listened to the "I'll Take the High Road" lullaby that was sung for the BoS last week. Without reviewing the video, I seem to recall that the speaker was quite adamant that they were "notagroup".
Well, coming from a long line of notas, this really "ground my gears".

BUT:
Notagroup? no way!
However, in the interest of softening the perception of up to one (1) person (who could it be?) that this site is wall-to-wall hate bloggers, I will admit these seekers after truth, justice and the American way to the very exclusive nota lineage.
" by the powers vested in me, I now dub them NOTAGROUP; with all rights and priveleges that accrue thereto"
Take that, BagelBreath!

Anyone out there want to be a hero and submit in writing, "When will Sweet Brucey pay his taxes?"
