"Bobo the Man Who Will Never Talk About the Bloggers Again" just announced a new column where he is going to fight the bloggers.

I'll leave it to the rest of you to debunk his stupidity, but let's talk about this bombshell:

Claims that Wareham Observer founder Elizabeth Pezzoli was cheated out of her stake in the company – In the fall of 2007, while facing a personal income tax debt, Pezzoli choose to sell her share of The Wareham Observer LLC. to an investor from California named Paul Coyle, who then became a minority owner in a new company called Observer Media LLC.

Obvious spelling errors aside, (it's "chose," Bobo!"), what a crock.  As I recall, some pesky bloggers on the newspaper websites called Bobo out on this when they saw the infamous Ceritificate of Amendment on the Secretary of State's website, and Bobo said this was much ado about nothing, that a friend had just made a small investment in the business.

For years, he continued to maintain that he and the Cat Lady were partners, and he refused to acknowledge or address any questions about Paul Coyle's role with the rag.  Now he announces, that for all of these years, there has been a minority owner of the rag lurking in the shadows all along?

Let me get this straight - a paper that has a ridiculous amount of influence over how this town is run, and one owner lives in Halifax, and now we find out that all this time, there was another owner who doesn't even live in the same state, he lives all the way in California!

Bobo, we demand to know why you never acknowledged this until now.  The public deserves to know who Paul Coyle is.  The public needs to know about anyone involved with a paper that operates in the town and to date, this is the first time you've even printed the name "Paul Coyle" in your paper, and you still have not told us a thing about him.

Let Wareham residents decide Wareham's future.  We don't need any help from Halifaxers and Californians.

The transaction was signed by both parties involved. It was witnessed and duly notarized at the Wareham accounting firm of Facchetti and Facchetti.

The Cat Lady's signature does not appear on the Certificate of Amendment.

Pezzoli turned a considerable profit from her initial investment in the company and continued to work with the Observer for nearly a year as an independent contractor.

How much did ole Pauly buy her out for?  What's his return on his investment?  What are his duties with the paper?

She then choose to end her association with the Observer after being threatened with dismissal for refusing repeated requests to attend a meeting at the office to discuss her desire to renegoiate the terms of an existing financial agreement.

Why do you lie about things you write in black and white?  Don't you remember your "Leave the light on" column where you, yourself, said that you and the Cat Lady got into a fight where she insulted the dollies that you bought, and you said something so horrible that she left, and you wish that you could take it back but she wouldn't talk to you?

A fight over dollies is what we've always been told was the reason, now you're changing your tune a year later?

She has been asked to return to the Observer several times, as recently as a few months ago, but she has repeatedly declined. To this day, Pezzoli earned more money through her affiliation with the Observer than anyone else involved with the company.

Of course not, you've got no money for her and as we all know, the "Cat Lady: Opinion for Hire" business only works for money up front, no credit.

Hambone,

After the last run around with Sh*t for brains (he can't debunk that), I've come to the conclusion he isn't worth it. Seriously, this person has no business in Wareham, doesn't own a home in Wareham, and doesn't vote in Wareham. His only connection to this town is his nose up the butts of the elected officials and his desire to destroy the town. He has zero credibility and his lies will continue until he realizes he is his own worst enemy.

To be honest, it brings a smile to my face when our puppy piddles on his slimey gossip rag.

I plan to spend my time learning and spreading the word for Take Back Wareham. The good people of Wareham need new leadership and direction, that is more important than a failure in life (that would be numbnuts). Can you imagine how sad his life must be when he starts a column so he can justify reading this site 24/7? Does that sound like a reputable journalist? Whew....and he wonders why it's just him and his webtv system that is left of a once proud local newpaper?

I will read the destruction of his work and laugh, but I am wiping him off my shoe :)

And now......plenty to do before the weekend arrives!

This is a landmark occasion because for three years, the people of Wareham have been practically begging to find out the simple details of who owns the rag.  Bobo has been dodging, avoiding, even lying, and has never even acknowledged Paul Coyle's existence until now.  I have to wonder why, if everything is on the up and up, did he wait so long to even acknowledge Paul Coyle's ownership.

A Wareham paper that wants to control Wareham government and it's co-owned by a Halifaxer and a Californian.  And the Halifax guy, for some odd reason, never wanted you to know about the Californian.

Now that Paul Coyle has been acknowledged as a co-owner, he really does need to start paying attention to what is going on with the business that he co-owns.  Business owners can't just sit back and collect a check, they need to be involved and make sure their business isn't having a negative impact on the public.  As a co-owner, Mr. Coyle is just as responsible for the trash that the rag puts out as Bobo.

Mr. Coyle needs to start calling on his business partner to start shaping up, stop the yellow journalism and the smear tactics.  As a co-owner, his reputation is at stake and he's legally responsible for the rag as well.

Maybe Mr Coyle could come up with the money to pay all the money the rag owes his printer.

I wonder, since we're all in the reaching out mood, would Mr. Coyle be willing to talk with some of our local community members for a respectful discussion where some concerns about his business and the negative impact it is having on our community can be addressed?  His business partner has been all too willing to simply label us all as "vile power elitists," so a discussion with him would be useless.  But, perhaps Mr. Coyle would listen to reason.

Obviously, we can't ask the man to fly in from California (he'd probably get lost trying to find Wareham anyway), but maybe a conference phone call could be set up - all very respectful and polite of course.

And shouldn't someone tell him that those reports haven't been filed by HIS company? What are those reports exactly? Partnership stuff? He might be interested. Is there any penalty for not filing those reports? I don't know much about them.

Silent partners, if that is what he is, are still legally partners so doesn't that also mean he should be paying the printer? Ouch.

Co-owners are legally responsible for anything that happens with the business.  Coyle is on the hook for any bills, and he can be sued along with Bobo if anyone ever brings another defamation case.

I know of at least one person who has "reached out" to Mr. Coyle.
It resulted in absolutely nothing for a legitimate response. He just wanted more information about the writer.
He obviously doesn't care about the paper or the Town Of Wareham. You are just wasting your time.

It's amazing that he's going to start changing the story.  We all remember the infamous "Leaving the Light on For You, Elizabeth" Column.  They fought over dollies!  He said she made a derogatory comment about his dollies.  He said he got upset by that because he purchased the dollies himself with his own money just like a big boy!  So then he said he said something to her that was very bad, and he realized it was very bad, and he wished he could take it back, but the Cat Lady wouldn't return his calls or even respond to third parties he sent to intervene on his behalf.

After that infamous fight, the Cat Lady went to the Crack O'Dawn to drown her sorrows in the lumberjack breakfast special and, sobbing and upset in front of many witnesses, told several people there that she had been fired.

The "Leave the Light" Column was hilarious.  He said it himself.  Their relationship ended over a fight about dollies.  "What?!  Don't you insult my dollies!  I'm going to call you something so bad I'll never be able to take it back to defend my dollies' honor!"

Now he's going to change the story.  Too late Bobo, you can't change the story.  It's all written down by you in black and white.

If anyone can add any links about the "dollies" episode, please add. I'm pretty hazy on all that, thanks IHS & Ham.

I'll have to dig around and see if I can find a paper copy of "Leaving the Light on for You, Elizabeth."  I haven't been able to find it online, but he wasn't online archiving the paper at that point.  It's a laugh riot.  You might get the jist of it reading our commentary from when it happened on this site.

A year later the jokes about her "50-watt severance package" are still funny.
