Liz & others,
I agree that we should get as many people informed as we can. I wonder if there's a comprehensive email list for Wareham residents. Maybe we can work together on gathering as many as we can, and then send them the links we have. This would save alot of effort in producing and distributing dvd's. If people don't have access to a computer, we'd obviously have to go another way. Email me if you can help with this. pshooter59@yahoo.com

Let's call this one, "Circumventing the process to serve our agenda."
At Town Meeting (05/11/09) the moderator didn't follow his own procedure to allow ONLY the petitioner (Bob Brady, in this case) to make the main motion on any and all petitioned Articles but instead, was complicit in circumventing the process by his actions. The moderator never even allowed Mr. Brady enough time to get to the microphone. (run time 2:14)

Watch the Town Meeting segment again and check out the look on Rich Bowen's (K&P) face at the end. It's like "Holy Sh*t", what the hell did John Donahue just do ?
I'm wondering if the Moderator or A. Slavin consulted with him first or just orchestrated it between themselves.
Either way they both should be ashamed of themselves.

I feel terrible about what happened with those articles. I think too many people heard the Charter Review Committee get up and say they were working on those articles and wanted furthur study, and assumed that they were their articles. I'm embarassed to say that that's what I thought was going on. But the bottom line is the Moderator should have known what was going on! And I can't believe he didin't know what was going on! We need to vote in a fair and qualified Town Moderator. And by qualified, I mean cabable of doing the job fairly, objectively, and professionally! And it would be a good idea if he/she could add!

I agree nitty. The Moderator even corrects the wording for the chairman of the CRC from "ahead of schedule" to "out of order".
I think they should have rehearsed their scheme.

Here are a few clips I'd like to hear/see again--the one where Brenda went "fricken blind" from Bill's flash and the one where she asked if the Pillsbury woman's husband was "screwing" around on her--so classy. Then from town meeting, the one where Jane said that the DOR said it was illegal to use cpc money to pay off the Swift's beach court judgment but that we should all vote for it because if they caught us they had no way to punish us. Classics.
I'm sure others of you have requests for some of your favorite moments of hypocrisy and outright lies.

havent anything about the citizen meeting but did you notice jane d states "we are a volunteer board" in the next sentence "we are looking at changing our current form of goverment"...the CRC recomendation didnt come out for goverment change until 16 days afte this meeting... hmmmm just a FYI brenda e is the liasion for the crc not jane d..

Yeah, they've known they were going to change our system of government to accomodate their personal needs for quite some time, long before they picked their rubber stamp lackies on the CRC. It would be alot easier for everyone if they just got jobs as bagboys at Stop and Shop instead of changing a system of government we've had for hundreds of years since colonial times, but I suppose that Herculean effort is the only chance any of them have of pulling down a steady paycheck.
