I will not go to the website, nor will I buy the RAG..I do, however, grab a Tri-Town for shits and giggles..this weeks front page was all I had to see..the belly-laughs ensued

"I have looked over the last few editions and they pale in comparison to the quality of writing and reporting that existed when Andrea was here": Earth to Bobo- the paper was awful then as well!!

"I received several resumes for freelance oppurtunities, Andrea set the basr high here": Nobody would have ever heard of her if she hadn't lived near Wareham Crossing!!

"for the better part of 2 1/2 years I have been forced to  work 36 straight hours": YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME!!..YOUR PAPER SUCKS!!

"I am diabetic. Ihave two children. The pace has begun to take its toll on my physical and emotional well being":..this I have to agree with..you look like shit and you have an imaginary reporter friend!!

Change should come for the Rag: it should go away (still wonder what the advertisers are thinking doing business with him)

Paul Shooter wrote a story about the Marion TA finalist that had a DUI.  Funny, no quotes, it too appeared to be a rehash of other reports.  Let's see Paul Shooter wrote a bank robbery story and a Marion TA story, both, in my opinion, appeared to be rehashings, and two articles on the community meeting, featuring extensive quotes and or references to several people, Sweet Brucey, Dr. Rabinovich, the School Committee, the ACLU, and more...funny, why do none of these people seem to know about Paul Shooter?

Does Paul Shooter interview people from behind a screen using a voice changer?  How does an anonymous reporter interview people and stay anonymous?

Oh wait!  Maybe Bobo had Mr. Shooter Puppet on his hand while he called all these people, so those all count as Paul Shooter exclusives.

There is precedent for columnists using pseudonyms, although I find the rationale in the Shooter case lame.

Hamatron, you have it nailed because there is no precedent I can think of for a news reporter being anonymous.

"Hello, Ms. Newsmaker in the Community, please excuse the bag over my head but I'm Paul Shooter, an anonymous reporter for Robert Slager's wonderful Wareham Observer, and I'd like to get some quotes from you about..."
