Is anyone bothered by the fact our real estate taxes/evaluations sky rocketed with the past housing boom, and now values have decreased substantially, yet our evaluations have remained unrealistically high? I'd love to think I could sell my house for what it's appraised for! I'd take the money and run!

Well, and thank God selectmen feel they can just rifle through assessment records willy nilly. I'm sure they would never do anything like, demand property taxes go up for their enemies or anything like that!
