I have emailed the local tv stations about the crime watch story. I told them if they were having a slow news day they might be interested in investigating. I also mentioned they may want to investigate the audit, the closing of Maple
springs road, and Sweet Brucey owing back taxes. I did tell them they might have a tough time getting info because of our ITA having to clear all media statements from town department heads or town employees. I'm not sure but I don't think that can be legal. Suppose you work for a town and your a whistle blower. How can you be a whistle blower if you have to get permission to blow the whistle. (but I digress). I think as many people as possible should email the local stations maybe if they get enough emails they will send someone to investigate. If you are don't want to use your name when you fill out some of the forms you can just use first initial last initial.
I get so frustrated with the ITA. The way he says yes sir and no sir to Sweet Brucey make my skin crawl. As he mumbles through his report I just want to smack him upside the head and say grow some balls will you. You are paid by the taxpayers not Sweet Brucey! Thanks for letting me vent

I also mentioned they could visit our blog if they wanted more info and that the Standard Times had been working on the story of crime watch and Sweet Brucey's tax mess.

If just one station and the S-T cover the arraignment it would open the crime watch to much needed fresh evaluation.
"Head of local crime watch charged with assault with a deadly weapon" is a pretty catchy title.
I hope Steve Urbon is there.
Any word on how the woman is doing? Does anyone know her name?
I wonder if she's angry enough to be at the arraignment.
He must have his fair day in court and have the presumption of innocence. But residents deserve to be informed of what they have a right to know without jumping through hoops.
