I thought they were on the Summer every other week schedule, but I've heard that the BOS is meeting tonight.

I tuned in just now and am seeing the message across the screen that says the meeting will air tonight after the meeting ends and again on Thursday at 12 pm.

Last week, the message said this was because of work being done on the system.  This week, no mention of the system.

Is this some kind of sneaky thing, so if the BOS does something embarrassing, the tape can "mysteriously" disappear?

We the people have the right to watch the bos meeting live.

Transparency? Surely they have nothing to hide! I guess this means we need to get off our butts and go to town hall every Tuesday night. Someone has to keep an eye on our duly elected officials.

If the meeting goes late, then it is impractical for those of us who get up early for work to be able to watch the meeting in it's entirety.  I wonder if the community Tv people will consider running it again another evening instead of noontime????

Late at night, or at noon time, sounds like the only ones that will be able to watch the meeting from now on are the BOS cronie crew.  Primo viewing times for the unemployed.

Call the tv station. Maybe they'd be willing to show it more often.

During Citizen's participation 3 people spoke about Crime Watch, the first about being followed by George then given a ticket, he was referred to write a letter. The second spoke about the violation to Mass law in regards to these folks giving out tickets without being duly certified to do so under the law. And the third asked about financial issues, BOS states that there is zero dollars given from the toen to the group, the group is a private entity that raises all it's own funds including gas, vehicles, insurance, rent etc. They sign waivers so that the Town is not liable in case of injury while performing duties.

This is just a recap.....watch the tape.

For the record, the problems with the live airing should be resolved by the next meeting as stated to me by a studio staff member.  It had something to do with a comcast modification to allow for a third channel.  It is a bit of an inconvenience to have to stay up late to view or catch the re airing on Thursday at noon but this should be the last time.  Lets see a show of hands from all those that can watch it at noon on Thursday.  Maybe a weekend airing would also be a good offer.  Either way plan to spend at least three hours to watch it.  Tonight's agenda has several public hearings (6) for package store violations for serving to minors in the last sting effort.
