hooray,  I think Mixie is trying to say you are Slager.  Not sure though.  I don't care if you are or not.  I think you are trying to be honest and communicate.  I like that you have something to say.  I like that you don't pull any punches.

lol!!!!!!! i'm not slager. nor do i even work for or contract to wareham. i am a resident only and don't EVEN have a library card. i really hope that is not what she meant. thank you pink. your one of the few along with maple, GWB and (i hate to say it) mixie who can at least articulate and not grunt and shriek in a response.
why is it so hard for the entrenched to believe that a mere resident would have an opinion on this subject. i do pay property taxes after all. i can't tell you how irritated i get at how many times the state at one level or another keeps trying to pick my pocket.

1. i went to public school with 30 kids in a class and WE learned to read and do math. until there is a better quality to h/s grads i wouldn't give a nickel to the schools or their union workers. do better and you may get more. and DON'T blame it on the kids or parents.....your the one's who've been teaching victim-hood behavior (ADD, racism, sexism, humanism) the past 15-20 years now. is it any wonder the kids are all screwed up?
2. cops on details talking on their cell phones on the back roads of wareham with cars backing up. i don't care what you do on details. you can read, talk on your cell phone or whatever........BUT MISSION FIRST!
3. what is going on with the the sewage rates? i'm sure the selectmen are involved with that.
4. the town cutting the cops and fire department first before the "after-school programs." hey! school ain't a daycare for the "less fortunate." i and we already pay for their kids now. public safety should be dead LAST on the chopping block. i know the town likes to do that when the people say no to higher taxes. i don't like the threat.
5. some of the attitude i get when i have to deal with town government like the town hall. some there are REAL nice but sometimes i get some miserable shrew who needs a good reminder of why she is there.

and your right commonsense. i was a little unsettled by that as well. i won't lie, i like his paper and read it regularly, but i would have left that out.
though after reading whats been said by mixie and many others.....you reap what you sow.

I think Slager was saying where was Mixie's husband? Blogging for her while she was at the meeting??? Just reading between the lines here.   I could be wrong.

good point pinkpanther. a possibility. it would be nice if he clarified. i'd hate to think he was getting in the gutter.

Ragman has consistently accused a different individual (other than the one at the meeting) of being Mixie for several years.  He took a cheap shot.  On the same page, he takes Brenda at her word that she was wrong (and what a BS excuse that is), then takes a cheap shot.  The ultimate in hypocrisy.

He's not getting in the gutter.  He is the gutter.

Mixie doesn't mind anything that Slager writes about him/her.  Mixie is well aware that her/his behavior is sometimes over the line and often reprehensible.  All Mixie wants and all s/he has ever wanted was to get hit with the ever elusive jeer stick. But No! It's always someone else!

Slager tries to figure who is behind the anonymous posters and he is always wrong.  Believe it or not Hooray, I too am just a resident of the town.  I have no connection to any political person, am not employed nor have any family employed by the town and I don't even know where my library card is.  It probably doesn't matter cuz my card is pre-computer.

I believe sincerely that Slager is mean spirited and hurts individuals who do not deserve his trashing by distortion.

1st).  Negative, no, nine nix naynay.  I do not work for nor have I ever even met Mr.Slager.
1b). I stole his jeer stick while he was looking the other way. 
2nd) But you do sometimes try to keep things going.
