The identity of Ms. Lilly has fascinated the blogging world for close to a year now. Up until recently the pleasant, sometimes bordering on charming supporter of the BOS has left us wondering who could be behind the name?
Like a game of Clue we have muddled through names thinking we almost had it. But, after reading her commentry under Mr. McDonald's letter to the editor on s-t.com I am convinced that Jane is behind the screen name.
Suddenly, when pushed, the nastiness that is the real Jane shines through and her comments become demeaning. The real give away is that she admits to blogging all day at work but thinks we should GPS town employees because they are paid with tax dollars. If that isn't Donahue logic I do not know what is!

ILIAZ....I knew I would eventually freakin love you...

First, I was Slager, which I thought was the ultimate compliment...but now Jane...you rock...

I promise you, even if you were to find out who I was, you still wouldn't know who I am...I would go so far as to refer to myself as a "no one" but IHL would have way too much fun with that one...

As far as "the nastiness" and "her comments become demeaning" go, I think you are referring to my response to ebonyeve...I am embarrassed to say it has nothing to do with being Jane but the wine I drank while enjoying a Friday night out...oh yeah, that's why I don't make a habit out of doing that very often...drinking and blogging...if any of you guys read the ST blogs back when I first started posting, you'd remember I pulled the same stunt,  but not only did I finish a bottle of wine, but hit the bottle of Stoli too...then I got on the computer...bad, bad, bad...when I woke up the next morning and remembered what I'd done, I dragged my head over to my laptop and deleted my "party girl post" of the previous evening, typed a brief apology for my rudeness in it's place and left the following message...

"When are those around me going to figure out it's not my car keys that need to be taken, but my laptop's..."

My best and most favorite one liner of all time originated on my own rude drunkenness...oh how proud I am...

Wow.  Getting  drunk then typing whatever the hell you feel like.  Have you considered applying for a job at the rag?  I hear he has two recent openings - one due to old age and the other due to grand theft auto.

It all makes sense now.  Mslilly is Jane's best friend Former Sgt. Grady- Hinckley.  Perfect  cover as they each take care of one another.  I wonder if Grady's husband smokes pot with Jane.?

One of the great things about blogs is that you can speak without fear of recrimination. Some people claim that only cowards blog. But in this town, where blowing your nose can be cause for firing or suspension from your job, you have to speak anonymously.

Now, we heard Jane say in the audio clip that they have to find out--do they blog?

If Jane is Ms. Lilly and she is on this blog writing comments that she knows will generate what has been termed--"hate blogging" wouldn't that be the sleaziest form of entrapment? Then, wouldn't any punishment of town employees for blogging be rendered moot?

If it is the Donahue's buddy, Lee Carmody, and she was asked to continue jabbing the bloggers to provoke them to write nasty things about town officials, wouldn't that be just as bad?

Just doing a little brainstorming here. But both of them supposedly have a lot of letters after their names. Only one has lived here for 50 years. The plot thickens.

I don't care who blogs and really, if everyone is saying the same things, it gets tedious. But if this is a form of entrapment, then we shouldn't stand for it. Note that there has been a lot more blogging by this person since the computer audit.

Weather flash: More rain expected today in Wareham in the midst of a computer audit. Let's hope the god of thunder is in a good mood.

Molly...shockingly, I don't have too much to disagree with you re: your last post except that I really don't think my blogs try to generate "hate blogging" and that I am in no position to create an entrapment issue for anyone...I am merely trying to express my opinions on what I think would be beneficial to this town, just like all of you...and I actually like the fact that you agree with me that "if everyone is saying the same things, it gets tedious..."  It also doesn't promote much in the beneficial brainstorming or creative solutions departments...we will all work very, very hard to try and make someone realize that their viewpoint is not the correct one, but only when it is different than your own...and that can lead to some really clever solutions to things...
