I wish ihateliz hadn't deleted his post because he was right. Susan Pizzolato's departure was common knowledge for months, as was the scarlet bullseye she wore for years. Susan adored the job and she needed it. She bent over BACKWARD to accommodate these assholes and she took huge doses of shit because of it. From me, among others.

I live immediately across the street from the library and Susan was the first person I encountered when I first tried to resettle here. She bought me socks and underwear I couldn't afford to buy myself. She underwrote the first year of my web host subscription fee, for the same reason. And she fed me, along with a lot of other hungry people in this town. There are many more than you might imagine. And fuck all, I'm crying.

I'm sorry, Susan. I really am sorry.

I was shocked to learn susan has resigned, but right to the end, she exhibited the class that ragman can only dream about.  Susan P was without a doubt, one of the finest adults in Wareham.  People who picked on her, didn't really know her or they wouldn't have turned on her.  Sad day for Wareham!

It really is pathetic - they have been caught on tape ranting for 6 minutes about how this "audit" is all about hunting down the bloggers - a $51,000 investigation into who is hurting Bruce's feelings - and yet the Ragman still tries to make it out like people are resigning because of this "investigation into corruption."

Oh I forgot - when people are outraged at the time and money being spent, then it is an "audit," but when there is a chance to take a pot shot at people the BOS do not like, then it is an "investigation."

susan is a good librian and did not deserve this crap the selectmen heaped on her  I AM SURE SHE IS NOT LEAVING BECAUCEOF A SO CALLED COMPUTOR INVESTIGATION AS THAT ASS HOLE SLAGER CLAIMS , ITS BEEN COMMEN KNOWLEDGE THATHER JOB WAS TO BE ELIMATED A T THE END OF JUNE . It wasn't the rumor mill that said Susan's job was being eliminated. Jane Donahue said it at a fin com meeting in front of plenty of people. That's how the word got out. I was shocked to hear it. In a civilized society, when a person is willing to take over the "acting" position, in this case, acting director, their job is not eliminated so there is nothing to go back to. But it was a very clever way for the selectmen to continue their ongoing vendetta against the library.

I heard she got the Library Director's position in Mattapoisett. Good for her!!! She will do a great job there and that library and its staff will grow and prosper and become one of the best libraries in the state. That is what happened to our library where she dedicated herself every day to make our library a real jewel. But this bos could not control themselves in their personal vendetta against Mrs. Pillsbury which extended to the trustees, and the staff and also to Susan P.

Ok, so all our good people immediately get jobs elsewhere. What does that tell you folks?

These people are not goig anywhere, they have no values, morals, or shame. You saw what happened in April, remember those results? I am all for kicking every one of them to the curb but I don't know how that works or how to make it successful.
