That's "taxpayers," who are owed the explanation, Bruce, you'll have to wait out in the hall when they explain.

I guess the press corps in Chicago has more steal in its shorts that what he have in Wareham (the great Mr. Urbon excluded).  The paper over there printed a story about a pol that owes only $12,000.  Our select-clown had to go up to $181,000 before it ever got some light shed on it.
