As the Ragman drones on and on about how Brucey's tax woes are irrelevant to his ability to serve as a selectman, more and more national papers are picking up on the story that Urbon of the Standard Times broke this week.
Word has it that even the San Francisco Tribune, right in Ragman's home town, picked up on the story.
Hell, even the American Association of Retired Persons felt it was important to let their old fogie followers in on the story by posting it in the AARP Bulletin:
http://bulletin.aarp.org/states/ma/2009 … tmans.html
But that's ok, Ragman. As newshounds from coast to coast continue to see the hypocrisy of a public official who wants control over tax dollars while he owes plenty of his own, you keep on being a good little lackey and smooching Brucey's rump.

Ragman, the San Francisco Tax Lien Group also thought this was newsworthy. Jesus, why does everyone in San Francisco think this is a big deal but you, Ragboy?

A little stroll down memory lane (make that hypocrisy lane) here in a Jan 2006 article by one Ragman prior to his unceremonious heave-ho from the Bulletin - Brucey returns from his Mexican holiday (presumably paid for with money the tax authorities would like to have had) to yell at former TA Hartman for not getting the tax bills out on time.

Also, keep in mind Ragman chastized a signer of the anti-Failed Pizza Parlor Avenue petition for having tax woes. If anyone else finds more news outlets, organizations etc who disagree with Ragman and think this story is relevant, toss it up here.

By the by, did we all miss this ST Editorial that the BOS owe the taxpayers an explanation of the "audit?"
http://www.southcoasttoday.com/apps/pbc … /906030313
"The board owes taxpayers a full and immediate explanation" says the ST.
That's "taxpayers," who are owed the explanation, Bruce, you'll have to wait out in the hall when they explain.

My God. Topix.com is in on the power elite conspiracy to put out an "irrelevant" story - for Christ's sakes, legitimate newspaper sites, the AARP bulletin for Old Farts, Ragman's Condo Association, now this? DAMN YOU POWER ELITE, IS THEIR NO END TO YOUR FAR REACHING GRASP?!

I guess the press corps in Chicago has more steal in its shorts that what he have in Wareham (the great Mr. Urbon excluded). The paper over there printed a story about a pol that owes only $12,000. Our select-clown had to go up to $181,000 before it ever got some light shed on it.

Lower on the scale, but here's an independent blogger that saw the story's relevance:
