Let's not forget that just two weeks ago RagMan said the blogger's 15 minutes of fame was up and he was refusing to give them the attention they crave.

I guess when the bloggers actually break the news (as referenced on several legitimate news sites), they're relivance can't be denied.

A quick glance at Book 35566, page 225 in the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds shows that Slager was sued last year by his condo association in Halifax for not paying his condo fees.

Slager has also failed to file the required Annual Report for The Wareham Observer, LLC with the Secretary of the Commonwealth's Corporations Division - or pay the annual filing fee - for the last two years.

Since he and Savageau clearly have a lot in common as founding members of ASS (the American Society of Stiffs), why would anyone expect him to view Savageau blowing off paying his taxes as anything but normal, acceptable behavior?

As usual, you have to be real specific when dealing with Ragboy.  He says Wareham Ragserver didn't file because the company changed it's name.  That's true, it is now Ragserver Media.  Is Ragserver Media up to date?  Someone ask Paul.  Don't ask the Cat Lady.  She wouldn't know, she's still ignoring that light.

Glad to hear the condo thing is a broken window dispute.  And here I thought Ragman didn't want to take the chance that his condo fees would be used for building an evil condo library.

Well, initially it is.  Right up to the point when the IRS and/or Mass. Dept. of Revenue conclude after years of trying to collect back taxes that they might never see their (read: "our") money unless they secure their interest by placing liens on the tax delinquent's real estate.  Then it's a matter of public record for all the world to see.

And that's really the rub here.  Because it's easy to fall into the trap of viewing this as Savageau owing some amorphous, anonymous entity like "the government" all this money, when in actuality what he and other tax delinquents do by not paying is jack up the tax rates for all of the rest of the taxpayers who do pay their taxes.

So he's been stealing from the rest of us for years.  And thieves should not hold public office.

The S-T forum comments - including the one-sided shootout between Mr. Slager and me - have been zapped.  Betcha Slager called them up screaming and yelling, and they caved.

The funny thing is he admitted to not paying his state filing fees on the Standard Times blog after he got into a heated debate yet he failed to update his online rag. Update your site and admit you havent paid the fees yet!!!!

Their own meanness will finally come home to haunt them.  Remember when the town accountant was fired, an accountant was hired to go over the books so that the next accountant would start with a clean set of books.  I bet they wish they hadn't done that because they would have been ecstatic to pin this on Mr. Bliss.  Too Bad guys.  The truth will always prevail.
