If all of the BOS members were 1/2 hour late for the meeting, where were they?  And did all the members know to come to the meeting 1/2 hour late.  It seems they must have communicated outside of the open meeting...isn't that what the old BOS did and it was ruled a violation of Open Meeting Law?

Last week they also said they were having a 15 minute executive session before the Westfield property presentation...I know I've been guilty in the past of not hearing things said during their meetings, but I'm sure these voices were coming from my tv set and not from within my head...didn't anyone else hear them say this stuff at the close of the last week's meeting?

I paid close attention, then double checked. What I heard was they planned an executive session beginning at 6pm. That ran until 7:50, 35 minutes past the scheduled start of the BOS meeting. Sauvageau, in his opening remarks this evening, apologized to those attending and said ominously that they were dealing with critical issues. I'm paraphrasing.

Last Friday's gestapo horror show was obviously planned well in advance. Chief Joyce's presence at the Police Department that day was unexpected. Sanguinet approved his request for a vacation day for last Friday, so his appearance must have proved unpleasant surprise for our Interim Buttmonkey. Anyone who knows better would have realized Joyce often drops by the PD on his days off.

In the regular meeting room, in executive session.

They were probably all busy in one of their twisted gang circles!
