Seems BOS has their ducks lined up to take their dramatic breaths. Wareham is bankrupt. BOS special interests play into the hands of "free based" consultants. All the while approximately 250 or so voting residents will attend TM Tuesday evening. After the ducks quack, and the impact in the pocketbooks of residents is fully realized will this finally awake the multitude? Snow White
PS just can't wait for charter reform .....

Wag:
I heard a rumor that the Charter Review Committee met and has already decided to change our form of government, now that is what I call expedicious. Let's just put the final nail in the coffin.
My house is for sale, I just hope it sells soon. No wonder our children do not stay in this God forsaken place! It is run by a couple of jack assess who have no gainful employment and believe the answer to our problem is wealth re-distribution? Or in the case of John Donahue, giving him a job on the tax payers dime (let me tell everyone right now Mayor's are EXPENSIVE).
Town Democraic Committee, I have heard this before from others and have voted only republican since. They are all the same, Obama wants to have this socialist society, Wareham wants to be communist, the whole world has gone nuts! But for those of us who just wnat to go to work and do our jobs and keep some of the money we work for, it is getting tough :-)

Slagerk criticized the bloggers for pointing out the conflict of interest with bruce taking an active role in the sewer controversy. This is for his own personal gain, money that goes into his pocket and that is ok????
Are they going to provide us with masks on tuesday night cuz it's pretty scary to have to breathe the same air as those pigs. eeww!

God, I'm getting so tired of the neverending debate over who pays to get rid of the town's shit supply.
How bout this for a policy? If it comes out of your butt, you have to pay to get rid of it.
Or better yet, Ragman and Bruce supply 95 percent of the town's bullshit supply, have them pay to get rid of it.

Bruce has been the biggest advocate for reducing the sewer fees. He has drastically cut services to other departments to cut the fees greater than what was voted on at town meeting. He fired the former TA when the TA advised against cutting services so drastically. When the sewer fees are cut, Bruce profits personally. This is a major conflict of interest.

The amount that he owes for his portion is reduced. The more money he can force to go towards reducing the sewer fee, the more his rate goes down and the more money he saves. As I see it, one of his top priorities is reducing the sewer fees. This is done at the expense of all the departments. Hurt the majority of the town to help himself. Town voters who were sewer users knew that the sewer people were paying a higher than necessary rate for their sewer. For the sake of town services, these sewer users were willing to reduce their fees over time and that is what the former TA was trying to do. Brucie didn't agree with the plan so who knows what his real motivation was. As I see it, it is a win/win for Brucie. He gets to destroy the town and put money back into his pocket.

I recall one of the fin com people who quit after the town meeting from hell figured it out and it means each sewer user would save something like $12 a year. That is why the case was made to fund the library that year so it wouldn't be decertified. In the long run, it will save users money, but when you divide the savings by the number of individual users, it is a very small annual amount. The town voted to cut the sewer fee against McAuliffe's advice, and the fin com's advice, and the library was decertified. Still, it is money in the pocket of anyone on sewer so that would seem to be conflict of interest. Hey, how come they can have a holy sewer lobby but if you belong to the library lobby or the cranberry lobby you are evil???
Also, as to he who shall not be named jeering himself....I thought he only printed the truth?? How many times has he droned on in the rag about how he holds the truth scared...I mean sacred??? So, when he prints a mistake and people believe it, he admits it can hurt innocent people. Don't get me started about the lies and crap he has printed about so many people and groups in town and he could care less what happens to them. So many people have corrected his errors in letters to the editor yet he could care less and often blows those people off in his "editor's comments." If he loves the truth so much, he should admit that he is a hypocrite! Oh my head.

The savings is $12.50 per user for every $100,000.00 cut in sewer fees.
Bruce is on sewer, in fact, the majority of the selectmen are on sewer, hence the citizens petition article that they not be allowed to hold multiple roles (road commissioners - let's get ADM for driving down Maple Springs Road & sewer comissioners - let's save ourselves a few dollars because getting a job is too much work). This is subsidizing sewer rates, or what I should say is it is subsidizing Bruce and company.
What is sad is that this year $200,000.00 was cut, that my dear blogging friends is revenue that has been cut when our community is on the verge of bankruptcy. Now that is real planning and foresite into the best interests of the community.
