Why do six people need to stand to have an article taken off the consent calendar?  Why doesn't he just read them and allow people yell hold as they do with the budget?  Wouldn't that be more efficient?

I'm sure they have 6 people ready to go on each article they (BOS) want eliminated.

Not too much to comment on.  I don't think that woman needed to come before the BOS about the stimulus money.  Marcine works for the town and the town departments should already be aware of the money.....

The woman is Lynn Burroughs, who lost her bid for school committee, you may also remember her as the woman who paced TM floor a few meetings back and wanted the school budget cut to zero until they properly addressed special needs.

Simmons was referring to regular testing required by the state, all treatment plants are required to perform and report certain levels. Does it surprise any of you that our plant has numerous violations that are inexplicable? I found Brenda's interest rather amusing since during her tour of the plant she left and swore she would never return because it smelled bad. Guess no one told her that her shit stinks too.
