I hope that Cara Ann runs again next year. It has been my observation that whenever someone from the Cape Verdian community runs for any election; they will win the election. For whatever reason, it happens! It is nauseating for slagerk to turn the facts around and try to blame anyone for anything. But worst of all to try to take credit. I know people in the Cape Verdian community who are offended that he has singled people out by race. More often than not there has been CV representation on the BOS.....well that is until slagerk ran them out of town.

I find it disgusting that the Donahue's continue to exploit the CV community. I have lived here all my life, raised my two kids here, and have never seen the racial divide we have now.
My daughter is married to a CV and he is besides himself with how the rag continues to identify CV.
This town has gone from being a beautiful communtiy to be a sick, deranged and twisted place.
