From the Courier:
"Miller had to step in on more than one occasion when she deemed a question or comment inappropriate. One such moment came when Selectman Brenda Eckstrom questioned Winslow’s connection to members of Citizens for a Better Wareham, some of whose members have voiced support for recalling at least a few of the current selectmen.
However, neither candidate folded beneath the scrutiny, nor did either take the bait to engage in argumentative politics."
Oh Brenda, you never disappoint in showing off your Brocktoness, do you?
So let's get it straight. Televised forum where a local newspaper reporter asks questions - biased as hell. Free for all where Brenda gets to toss out whatever she wants - not biased at all.

THERE WAS ANOTHER INCIDENT WHEN A MEMBER OF THE THE COMMUNITY TRIED TO ASK A QUESTION AND HE WAS HECKLED AND LAUGHED AT BY TWO CURRENT BOS MEMBERS WHO WERE SITTING IN THE BACK. WHO WERE THEY? YOU GUESSED IT BRENDA AND BRUCE. THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT CITIZENS. THE CITIZEN WAS ONLY TRYING TO ASK A QUESTION ABOUT THE POLICE AND THEY HECKLED HIM.

So, to recap:
TV forum moderated by a newspaper reporter - BAD
Free for all where Bruce and Brenda run the show - GOOD

Although I was only able to see it on TV I think Nan did a great job and I would hope someone with her skills would consider being our next Town Moderator, including herself.
