slager a pathetic loser whines again about the courier a papper makeing money, with a lot of adds they know how to run a newspapper. slager doesnt ,maybe when he was at the courier he could have learned a thing or two about writing a newspapper. bye the way all stories written bye reporters are reviewed by the editors and they could have stoped ryans story about bliss if they wanted to , but they didnt, this is just what slager does ,someone blows their nose and then we have another cut and paste job about the mean bad courier and their biased stories. follks remember this same storey ,your going to hear it another dozen times , how about some real journalism like bruce lies to the grand jurey, slager as usual you are a pathetic passed over ex reporter who has past his prime . how about a bagel with extra creme cheese.

ok-hadn't read the column, went over to check it out...don't totally believe it but some facts do ring true from my memory. not enough to swallow his take wholesale but enough to think perhaps if you believe his writing is slanted why could it not be so of the staff (writers and editors) of the courier. bias does not only run one way...and some things you can't refute. i have read and observed this site for some time and there is some worthwhile commentary here, but also much vitriol (sp - don't want the grammar police to come down on me). there is spouting about j. potter's residential status...ok...but what about carl st. pierre (late of the finance committee) but also very vocal at town meetings...no one comments about his non-resident status. i'm also sure there are many others. i will go on record as saying i would never support a mayoral form of town government or even a rep. town meeting form. I drag my ass to town meeting so if i have something to say - i can, i vote the way i want...and i will be damned if i want someone who thinks they know my mind better than me to allow someone to speak for me. if you have something to say or an opinion on a town matter drag your ass out there and vote! it just seems both sides have same issues with their candidates/reps in the perceptions of some townfolk. i want the candidates at the opl night to tell me what they can and will do to better my community...that's it. not what's wrong w/so & so or why they're better than so & so. what are you going to do to make our COMMUNITY better.

Issues of residency status have resurfaced at regular intervals throughout Wareham's history, even before Bourne jilted us in 1884.
You're right, though, we should start an ecumenical list of offenders.
Watch for the paragraph police, warehamhuh.
