Regardless of the insightful details which this site supplies, we need to construct a second step accessible to the free spech of the middle class of Wareham. The middle class of Wareham don't have time to read the Rag or come here either; if they did they would support many of the opinions offered here. However, though the arguments presented are strong they fall upon unhearing and inaccessible ears.

Though the Rag created the sense of a revolution with his "power elite" formula, we knew it wasn't a correct path to solve the problems we face. Also, its time that race doesn't get pitted in an election in Wareham. I respect Mr Cruz but I can't really see him in a role other than an Onset/Wareham supporter for which I am grateful he has always contributed. I believe the Donahue camp drew him into a race he would have otherwise not considered. Although the Donahues may be able to contain his appearances to a minimum and an appearance at a single site, this does not adequately explore what our candidates need to addresss both in their mental, physical, judicial and financial means toward the objective of improving our town.

I've heard much over the last couple of months cocerning the stability and worthiness of certain selectpersons. I support them as individuals to complete their personal and town objectives; I don't support them when this becomes unclear until I know more thorough reasoning for their objections.

I am hoping for a positive environment!!!!!

Here's something you can fit on a postcard and mail to every registered voter.

Our selectmen want to discard 300 years of Wareham Town Meeting and install themselves as Mayor and Council. Wareham hasn't completed a single Town Meeting since John Donahue ascended the throne, anyway. Lawful warrant articles that displease the Selectmen are ignored.

Department heads are forbidden to speak to the media, unless they pass through the Selectman-financed newsletter first.

Political patronage is enforced by moronic show trials.

The town's sue first, ask later legal expenses are a state secret.

The BOS wants to privatize the library and deputize civilian police.

And this, just in yesterday. This BOS apparently wants to drain the swamp directly behind my rental - in the middle of Wareham Village - and build a high density, low income housing cluster fuck. That's right, drain protected wetland and make Bruce rich today!

Know what? Screw the post card. We need torches and pitchforks. And tar, and feathers, and lots and lots of rope.

Note to law enforcement: That last paragraph was a joke.

Yeah, just what this town needs. Another woods of wareham to draw even more dirtbags to town. Apparently being the 23rd most dangerous community in the state is not enough. We need to make a run at the top 10 and a large project is just the way to do it.

WE ALSO HAVE TO GET TO TOWN MEETING AND CURTAIL THE POWER OF THIS BOARD OF SELECTMEN BEFORE THEY GET TO CURTAIL OUR POWER WITH THEIR HANDPICKED COMMITEE OF CHARTER REVIEW COMMITEE MEMEMGERS . FOLKS ITS  THAT SERIOUS WE HAVE TO GET OUT IN APRIL TO VOTE  IF WE STILL WANT TO HAVE A TOWN WE CAN BE PROUD OF.

This is the same outfit that bulldozed Jimmy's IGA out of existence, Wareham Plaza Associates, LLC, those wonderful folks who brought us Shaws Market, an Albertsons subsidiary.

What frightened me most when the Plaza Associates first revealed its plaza development plans, and I don't scare easy, was I recognized them from Rhode Island. Picture a crooked line from East Greenwich to Johnston and Federal Hill. Got that? No telling what kind of contract they've dangled in front of Bruce and His Thieves, but typically in RI the developer can evict its subsidized tenants after 10 or 15 years, then flog their units at market rates.

This project has bag job written all over it.

Shaws Doesn't Care
